    Today, October 1st is the 40th anniversary of EPCOT, and today's the day to grab your anniversary food and beverage items that are available for the 40th today. Since opening in 1982, the park has allowed guests who have passed through its gates to get a glimpse into the future, travel the world while experiencing different cultures, and take their taste buds on a journey through delicious food festivals. The possibilities have been endless and will continue to be with the exciting plans that lie ahead in the future of this iconic theme park. To celebrate this momentous occasion, it’s only fitting to have some tasty treats, and for select days surrounding the anniversary, various locations will be serving up eats and sips honoring 40 years of fun and flavors. From the EPCOT 40th Liege Waffle at the recently opened Connections Café to the Figment Sponge Cake at Sunshine Seasons, and the Dan Dan Noodles at Nine Dragons Restaurant, there is something for everyone to get a taste of the celebrations.   • Treehouse Villas At Disney's Saratoga Springs Damaged In Storm, Re-Opening Delayed

    Due to damage caused by Hurricane Ian, the reopening of the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs has been delayed. The Treehouse Villas were closed ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Ian earlier this week, with guests transferred to other resorts within Walt Disney World. Disney had announced that the villas were expected to reopen on October 3, 2022, but the company has nowupdated that timeline, saying that the villas will remain temporarily closed. While no severe damage has been suffered at the villas, its believed that due to the dense landscaping around the villas, the area requires more cleanup time than Walt Disney World's other resort areas.

  • Walt Disney World Theme Parks To Resume Normal Hours Tomorrow, October 1st

    Walt Disney World have confirmed that after today's, Friday September 30 phased re-opening of it's theme parks, tomorrow Saturday, October 1, it's theme parks will return to normal operation hours. Tomorrow is Walt Disney World's 51st birthday and Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT (which also celebrates its 40th birthday tomorrow) will be fully back to normal following this weeks Hurricane Ian. Tomorrow's Opening Hours: Magic Kingdom: Early Entry from 8:30a.m., Open from 9:00a.m. to 11:00p.m. EPCOT: Early Entry from 8:00a.m., Open from 8:30a.m. to 9:00p.m. Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Early Entry from 8:00a.m., Open from 8:30a.m. to 9:00p.m. Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Early Entry from 7:30a.m., Open from 8:00a.m. to 8:00p.m.

  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Set To Re-Open Sunday October 2

    Walt Disney World have confirmed that the last of its attractions set to re-open after the resorts enforced closure this week due to Hurricane Ian. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park will re-open on Sunday morning, October 2, 2022. 10 am until 5pm. When Typhoon Lagoon opens on Sunday it will conclude a dramatic week for Florida's largest tourist attraction, having to prepare for a massive storm, closing theme parks, keeping thousands of guests safe during the storm, and of course cleaning up, and re-opening. It has been a huge undertaking for all the cast member involved, so when you see them in the parks, or in the hotels this weekend, smile and thank them.

    SeaWorld Orlando have announced that they will return to normal operations tomorrow, Saturday, September 1, 2002, welcoming guests back after being closed for Hurricane Ian. All parks will be operating as normal, SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, and SeaWorld's water park Aquatica. The after hours, halloween event, SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream will return tomorrow evening also.   • LEGOLAND Florida & Peppa Pig Theme Park Theme Park Re-Opening Saturday 10/1

    LEGOLAND FloridaResort has announced that they will re-open tomorrow, Saturday, October 1, 2002 after being temporarily closed due to Hurricane Ian. LEGOLAND Theme Park will reopen at 10 a.m. for regular operating hours including Brick-or-Treat Presents Monster Party. Peppa Pig Theme Park will open at noon tomorrow. LEGOLAND FLORIDA say that certain park experiences may not be available, and have announced that LEGOLAND Water Park will remain temporarily closed.

  • Kennedy Space Center To Soar Once Again Starting Saturday

    The remains of Tropical Storm Ian is still being felt on the east coast of Florida and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex have announced that they remain closed through Friday, September 30. The Cape Canaveral attraction will re-open on Saturday, October 1. with all attractions, exhibits, programs and the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour opening for regular operating hours from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Those with existing reservations through September 30 will be automatically refunded within 1 billing cycle. If you have purchased Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex tickets through third-party suppliers, travel agents or tour operators you are being advised to contact them directly for information regarding their cancellation or change policies and procedures. KSC has also extended the Future Voyagers offer to Sunday, October 9, which provides complimentary admission for up to three children ages 3-11 per one adult ticket purchased.

  • Is Halloween Horror Nights At Universal Orlando Cancelled Friday September 30?

    Universal Orlando Resort have announced that due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, the resort will only begin a phased reopening tomorrow, Friday September 30 to resort guests. The phased re-opening of portions of the resort tomorrow is ONLY for guests currently staying at the Universal Orlando Hotels. They have not indicated what portions of the resort will open, but as Halloween Horror nights is due to happen tomorrow evening, is the ticketed only event cancelled Friday September 30, or is it for resort guests? Universal Orlando Resort have issues a statement on the Halloween Horror Nights social media pages, but it remains unclear if the event is happening or not.

  • Move Over Ian, Halloween Horror Nights Is Back TONIGHT To Scare Orlando!

    Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando's Universal Studios Florida is back tonight, Friday, September 30. Now that Hurricane Ian has finished scaring Central Florida, Halloween Horror Nights is back tonight, Friday, September 30. Tinght's HHN's is only available for guests who have valid tickets, tomorrow the event will fully reopen with tickets available now. Due to Hurricane Ian, Universal Orlando Resort has been closed since Wednesday, September 28, and as a consequence the resorts ticketed Halloween event, Halloween Horror Nights was cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

    After being forced to close for Hurricane Ian, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay have announced that they will be re-opening and returning to normal operations tomorrow, Saturday October 1, The park will be fully operating as normal , as will the parks water park Adventure Island. The park after hours halloween event, Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream will return tomorrow evening also.   • Universal Orlando Resort Theme Parks To Fully Re-Open To All Guests Tomorrow

    Universal Orlando Resort will full re-open to all guests tomorrow, Saturday, October 1 Universal Orlando have confirmed that the entire resort will full re-open to the public tomorrow, including all theme parks. Halloween Horror Nights will return this evening Friday, September 30 to guess with a valid ticket only, but will full return tomorrow evening as usual, with tickets available now.

  • Universal Orlando Update: Phased Re-Opening Begins For Hotel Guests Only, Including Theme Parks

    Universal Orlando announced yesterday that they would begin a phased reopening of the resort today, Friday September 30 to resort guests only who are currently staying at the Universal Orlando Hotels. This morning, Universal Orlando began allowing resort guests into CityWalk at 11am, allowing guests to visit stores, and restaurants within CityWalk. CityWalk's re-opening was welcomed by cast members leading the guests in a dance party! The entire Universal Orlando Resort is only open today to hotel guests only. At CityWalk team members will ask to see everyone’s resort key and if anyone does not have one they will be asked to leave the property. At the same time as CityWalk opened, Volcano Bay was opened to resort guests also. As for the main theme parks, Universal Studios Florida theme park opened at noon to guests, but Universal's Islands of Adventure is to remain closed today. Due to the flooding still within the resort, Universal are recommending hotel guests use bus transportation, and not to use pathways between hotels and attractions, as many paths are still flooded. Universal Orlando Resort has not yet revealed re-opening plans to the general public for the resort, or when Islands Of Adventure will re-open at all, plus no word yet on TONIGHT'S Halloween Horror Nights, we will keep you updated! Orlando's Universal Orlando Resort has been affected more than its neighbouring rival Walt Disney World over at Lake Buena Vista, which avoided the worst of Hurricane Ian. Universal has suffered damage throughout the resort, including damage to attractions, a large section of the show building for Jurassic River Adventure in Orlando's Islands Of Adventure was ripped off, The Hulk Rollercoaster has track completely under water, and the waterways which are used to transport guest on river boats between the resorts hotel and the theme parks are seriously flooded. Flooding has also caused damage to scare houses for Halloween Horror Nights.
