Orlando Halloween Events 2022

As far as we’re concerned, any time of the year is a great time to be in Orlando. That said, there is something scarily special abut celebrating Halloween in Central Florida, and with so many things to do it’s an especially spooky time to visit. Whether it’s just the grown ups looking for a full on horror experience, or you and the kids wanting to enjoy a family friendly Halloween party, there’s plenty to do at the spookiest time of the year here in Orlando, honestly it's a must visit time of the year!

From as early as August through to November, Orlando transforms into the ultimate Halloween destination.

You can experience world famous scare events in the theme parks from the terrifying to the not so scary.

The world's premier Halloween event is at Universal Orlando, where you experience terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones, outrageous live entertainment and some of the park’s most exhilarating attractions at Halloween Horror Nights. Trust us, you'll need someone to cling to, someone to hide behind,  and somebody to panic with.  This is Halloween haunting on another level

Over on the west coast you take on terrifying haunts and thrills at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay where unspeakable horror lives in every dark corner, including on Busch Gardens’ pulse-pounding thrill rides.

Howl-O-Scream brings fear to the next level and once you’re in there’s nothing to fear but everything.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in Disney's Magic Kingdom is a spooky Halloween event that's more fun than fright! Suitable for all ages, dress up in your favourite costume and trick-or-treat around the park for lots of yummy candy. Don't miss the extra special Halloween show and fireworks and watch the spectacular Halloween Parade on Main Street, a must see on your Halloween trip.

During normal park hours at SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacularm you can enjoy trick-or-treating and meeting silly Halloween characters during this family-friendly, spook free event, dress up as your favourite characters and enjoy with the kids! Then after dark when the park closes,  SeaWorld transforms into an adults only scarefest with Howl-O-Scream, well worth a visit as is it's namesake signature event at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, A ticketed after dark scarefest sure to scare the bravest of souls!

At LEGOLAND Florida's Brick or Treat, families with younger kids will enjoy safe, neighborhood-style trick-or-treating with plenty of candy, seasonal Halloween shows and exclusive LEGO characters all dressed up for the holiday, in the ultimate kids Halloween celebration.

Plus if that's not enough screamingly good fun for you then Central Florida offers many unique and quite frankly terrifying local Halloween events and scarefests including must visit attractions, A Petrified Forrest in Altomonte Springs and Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City,  plus a special mention must go to Mortem Manor at Old Town in Kissimmee which is Central Florida's only year round haunted attraction and if real life ghosts and ghouls interest you then check out Orlando Haunts, who will guide you on an entertaining, historic and authentic ghost tour of haunted downtown Orlando.

And if that's not enough then you can discover even more Halloween fun at Icon Park, Gatorland, Fun Spot America, Gaylord Palms Resort, and more...

All this ghoulish fun in Central Florida makes a Halloween visit the essential way to celebrate the season!
