Daytona Lagoon Fun Park Reopens Following Hurricane Ian Storm Damage

Popular Daytona Beach attraction Daytona Lagoon Water Park & Fun Park has now reopened following an enforced closure due to damage caused by Hurricane Ian back in October.

As Hurricane Ian caused havoc on its journey across Florida, the Daytona area suffered badly from flooding and wind damage, and the popular Daytona Lagoon was no exception.

Daytona Lagoon which was only remodelled at the start of this year, suffered both wind and flooding damage, with park owners having to carry out extensive repairs to the park which was recently named Daytona Beach Visitors Choice Winner for Best Family Entertainment 2022.

While the park was closed, it has experienced some changes, including bringing back the Rock climbing wall and adding new flooring, with the park also announcing that is is introducing a new restaurant, ice cream bar and facility upgrade for the 2023 season.
