The 25th Annual Mount Dora Taste returns to Sunset Park for a night of food, music and community

Mount Dora Taste is bringing together 20+ local restaurants, live music, and hundreds of attendees for one of the region’s most anticipated food events.

The Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating a major milestone this spring with the return of the 25th Annual Mount Dora Taste, taking place Saturday, May 2 at Sunset Park in downtown Mount Dora.

A longtime favorite in the community, the event brings together more than 20 local restaurants for an evening of sample-sized bites, live music, and friendly competition. Guests can stroll through the park tasting everything from savory entrées to desserts, while casting their votes in the People’s Choice Awards for categories like Best Entrée, Appetizer, Dessert, Beer, and Cocktail.

Returning this year are the crowd-favorite People’s Choice Awards, alongside the debut of the Media Choice Awards. This year’s event will also feature live entertainment from Blender, a high-energy Central Florida band known for keeping the crowd moving throughout the night.

With 750–800 attendees expected, many traveling from across the region, Mount Dora Taste continues to showcase the strength and diversity of the local dining scene while drawing new visitors into the heart of downtown.

VIP tickets offer early access, exclusive samples, and a private, air-conditioned lounge experience.

The event runs from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m., with VIP entry beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Park, located at 341 Alexander Street.

Tickets are available in advance, and the event will take place rain or shine.
