  • Walt Disney World Park Pass Reservations Now Open To Resort Hotel Guests For September 30

    Park Pass reservations for Resort Hotel guests are available NOW for visiting some of the Walt Disney World theme parks as the phased reopening of the resort begins Friday September 30. The Park Pass availability calendar for admission to the parks tomorrow is available to Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests for Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.   • Walt Disney World Announce Theme Park Hours For Friday's Phased Re-Opening

    Walt Disney World have just announced the resort wide opening hours for tomorrow, Friday September 30, as the post-Hurricane Ian phased re-opening begins in earnest throughout the resort. All four Walt Disney World Theme Parks WILL re-open tomorrow. Park reservations are still required, and new reservations have only reopened for Resort Hotel guests. All dining reservations and Enchanted Extra prior to Early Theme Park Entry times will be cancelled, and guests with existing reservations during Early Theme Park Entry will be able to enter even if they are not a resort guest. The Magic Kingdom will open to Early Theme Park Entry from 8a.m., and be open from 10a.m. to 6p.m. for regular guests. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will take place as scheduled from 7p.m. to 12a.m. EPCOT will open to Early Theme Park Entry at 9a.m., and for all guests from 11a.m. to 9:00p.m. Guests will still be able to apply for the Virtual Queue to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind from 7a.m. as usual. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open at 10a.m. for Early Theme Park Entry, and from 12p.m. to 9p.m. for all guests. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open for Early Theme Park Entry at 11a.m., and from 1p.m. to 7p.m. for general guests. Disney Springs will be open from 10:30a.m. to 11p.m. Fantasia Fairways Mini-Golf will be open from 3:30p.m. to 10p.m. Disney Transportation will also be operating as per usual across the resort. The following locations will remain CLOSED on September 30: Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park (closed for season) Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Additionally, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will resume operations on Saturday, October 1.

  • The Florida Mall To Re-Open Friday With Reduced Hours

    Now that Hurricane Ian has passed through Central Florida, The Florida Mall has announced that the popular South Orange Blossom Trail shopping mall is to re-open Friday, September 30. from 1 pm until 9 pm. It is unknown at this time which stores will be open or closed, as individual retailers will determine if they wish to re-open tomorrow or not.

  • Universal Orlando Resort Expect To Begin A Phased Re-Opening Friday To Hotel Guests Only

    Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, Universal Orlando Resort have just announced that they will begin a phased reopening tomorrow, Friday September 30 to resort guests only. Universal say they are continuing to conduct assessment and recovery efforts across the entire resort and only expect to begin a phased reopening of portions of the resort for guests currently staying at the Universal Orlando Hotels. They have not indicated what part of the resort will open, or if it includes any of the resorts theme parks. The resort has suffered damage, including a section of the show building for Jurassic River Adventure in Universal's Island Of Adventure being ripped off, PLUS, sections of the resort are still currently under flood water including The Incredible Hulk ride, and the pathways around the waterways throughout the entire resort.   • No Screams In Orlando Or Tampa Friday Night As Howl-O-Scream Cancelled

    Hurricane Ian has scared two central Florida fright nights into submission, with both SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream, and Busch Gardens Tampa Howl-O-Scream cancelled for tomorrow night, Friday September 30. SeaWorld have confirmed that Tickets for tomorrow at both locations, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream have been extended through October 31.

  • Virgin Airways Expecting To Resume Flights From The UK To MCO Orlando Tomorrow

    Currently Orlando International Airport are continuing to carry out comprehensive safety checks throughout the facility following Hurricane Ians path through Central Florida. They are expecting to re-open tomorrow Friday September 30, but no official time is being given as they are unable to say when they will have the all clear to safely commence flights, however Virgin Airways have announced that after discussions with airport authorities, they are planning to operate their Orlando schedule outbound and inbound as planned, tomorrow, Friday September, 30. The airline say they are aware of the various infrastructure challenges surrounding Orlando International Airport, and with all roads flooded around the airport and no transport links currently available they are advising customers to take extra care and time for your journey to the airport. Virgin note that due to the disruption caused by Hurricane Ian, they may experience some challenges with theirr operation on the day, such as delayed departures and longer processing times through the airport.   • Orlando International Airport Unable To Say When The Airport Will Re-Open

    Orlando International International Airport are unable to reveal a timeframe for when the airport will return to normal operations due to the extent of Hurricane Ian. The airport say all commercial flight operations remained ceased at this time. Earlier today MCO shared an update on the airports status following last nights arrival of Hurricane Ian. At the time they expected to resume operations sometime Friday, pending damage assessment. The airport also revealed that all roads leading into the airport were closed due to flooding, with roads involved including all major and secondary arteries including Jeff Fuqua Blvd and Heintzelman Blvd, and Bear Rd and Cargo Rd.

  • LEGOLAND Florida & Peppa Pig Theme Parks To Remain Closed Friday September 30

    LEGOLAND Florida Resort has announced that both LEGOLAND Florida AND Peppa Pig Theme Park will remain closed Friday, September 30 due to Hurricane Ian. LEGOLAND Hotel and Pirate Island Hotel have both remained open to guests throughout the storm, and will continue to stay open to guests with existing reservations only. No re-opening date has yet ben announced but a Saturday October 1 re-opening seems likely. Any tickets dated for Wed., September. 28 through this Sunday, Oct. 2, will be automatically extended through December. 31, 2022.

  • Melbourne Orlando Airport To Resume Flights Tomorrow But No TUI UK Flights

    Melbourne Orlando Airport has announced that it will resume operations tomorrow, Friday, September, 30, 2022. Following a comprehensive damage assessment, MLB will reopen and return to normal operations at 6am. The east coast airport is now the main Florida airport for UK Airline TUI, who operate flights bringing thousands of passengers into Melbourne every week from various UK locations including London, Manchester, and Glasgow. TUI who have had to cancel several flights to and from the UK will not resume flight tomorrow, deciding that due to effects on some infrastructure, they won't be able to operate any TUI flights into Melbourne-Orlando Airport until Saturday 1st October. The company are contacting all affected customers to update them on their rescheduled flight times. For any TUI customers already in Florida, their resort teams are also on hand to provide support .   • Busch Gardens Tampa Bay To Remain CLOSED Friday September 30. Due To Hurricane Ian

    Due to Hurricane Ian, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will remain closed tomorrow, Friday , September 30, with the park planning to re-open Saturday, October 1. 2022. All date-intended tickets for September, 27, 28, 29 and 30 have been extended through December 31. Annual Pass Members’ guest tickets with an expiration date of September 30 and October 2 have been extended through October 16. Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream tickets for September 30 have been extended through October 31. The parks employees stayed on-site during Hurricane Ian to care for the animals, which are thankfully all safe and unharmed. Here is the official statement from SeaWorld Orlando: Due to Hurricane Ian, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, and Discovery Cove parks will remain closed through Friday, September 30. The parks plan to reopen on Saturday, October 1. Discovery Cove will reschedule or refund reservations booked online or from the call center.     Fun Spot America has announced that both its Central Florida amusement parks will re-open tomorrow, Friday, September 30, 2022. Both the Orlando location, and the location at Old Town in Kissimmee will re-open at 10 am and be open until Midnight.

All four Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs have been closed for the last two days, but Disney say that the theme parks and Disney Springs will open in a 'phased approach' starting tomorrow. No details have been given yet on the timetable, but we expect not every theme park will re-open tomorrow. with guests seeing only a partial re-opening tomorrow.
