The start of the 2022 - 2023 runDisney race season has begun with this weekends Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
This morning the first race of the weekend, the Disney Wine & Dine 5K took place in and around EPCOT. with fireworks heralding the start of race at 5 am.
Thie weekend will also see runners participating in the Disney Wine & Dine 10K, and Half Marathon.
Early this morning, Donald Duck was on hand to cheer on the runners near the UK pavilion!
Olaf was on hand too for some pretty awesome photo opportunities.
The medal for today's runners was very colourful, featuring the Disney movie Coco.
In addition to this morning's Disney Wine & Dine 5K, tomorrow will be the 10K race, and then on Sunday it will be the. turn of the Half Marathon.
Throughout the weekend runners and their guests can visit the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo to pick up their race bib, participant shirt and pre-purchased merchandise.
The expo hours are Thursday, November 3, and Friday, November 4, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, November 5, 2022, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Runners have the chance to celebrate their accomplishments with an after-hours party at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Sunday, November 6.
Global Marketplaces, select EPCOT attractions and live entertainment are available for party-goers.

Daylight Saving Time Reminder
Daylight Saving Time ends on Sun., Nov. 6.
Runners should plan accordingly to make sure they arrive at the starting location on time.
All runners must be at the start line by 5 a.m. or they may not be allowed to start.
