Orlando Science Center Is Hosting Science Night Dead For The Big Kids This Halloween

The Orlando Science Center will be hosting a Halloween party for adults on Saturday, October 22, at 8 pm.


This is the night you can dress up, let loose and enjoy everything you love about the Orlando Science Center, without the kids!


Science Night Dead Coming To Orlando Science Center

There’s no age limit on curiosity, and whether you're looking for a get-together of old friends or a fun date night out, Science Night Live, SORRY dead, is your chance to let out your inner child and experience the joy of science!


Explore interactive exhibit halls, try hands-on experiments in Dr. Dare's Lab, and catch special guest speaker Dr. Sandra Wheeler, an Associate Lecturer in Anthropology at UCF, who will be leading a discussion on “Anthropology of the Undead: Mummies, Zombies, and Vampires.”

In this fascinating talk, we will learn about the long history and complex relationship that humans have had with the supernatural, namely the undead. In this context we will focus on those undead who still have bodies, namely mummies, zombies, and vampires.
