Gaylord Palms Resort Is Celebrating It's 20th Anniversary With The ‘Ultimate Upgrade Package’

Central Florida's much loved, and luxurious Gaylord Palms Resort is currently celebrating it's 20th Anniversary, and to celebrate, the resort has recently launched an exclusive package for those who wish to indulge in luxury and opulence combined with a host of never-before-offered Gaylord Palms experiences to create this new “Ultimate Upgrade Package”

Celebrating the resort’s 20th anniversary this year, the “Ultimate Upgrade Package” includes deluxe accommodations, an in-room dining experience with a private chef, private use of a popular attraction in Cypress Springs Water Park, a custom wildlife tour, stretch limousine transportation to and from Walt Disney World Resort, theme park tickets, length-of-stay poolside cabana, VIP concierge services and more.

“As we continue to celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2022, we wanted to offer our guests a package that combines the most popular experiences at our resort into one visit,” said Johann Krieger, general manager of Gaylord Palms Resort. “Then, we worked to make these experiences even more special, exclusive and over-the-top.”

Guests booking the Ultimate Upgrade Package stay in a deluxe suite with an additional connecting room with two queen beds. Each room features balconies that overlook the resort’s 4.5-acre garden atrium. Or, guests may choose the newest deluxe suites and rooms in the Gulf Coast Tower, which opened in 2021.

After settling into their accommodations, guests are served a special opening night dinner by their own private chef. In an epicurean experience that’s never been offered at the resort, a Gaylord Palms chef will visit the suite and serve a three-course, gourmet meal on the room’s balcony, or in the dining area of the Gulf Coast Suite.

Things get a bit wilder the next morning at Cypress Springs Water Park, with another private experience. The party of four will be welcomed to Crystal River Rapids and have the attraction all to themselves for one hour before it opens to resort guests. An action river that whisks guests through winding waterways and waterfalls at nearly four feet per second, Crystal River Rapids is the newest addition to the water park and one of its most popular attractions.

After their time on the river, guests can relax in their private, poolside cabana, which they can enjoy for their entire stay. Cabanas have televisions, ceiling fans and upgraded lounge chairs, and come stocked with snacks and beverages. Cabanas also have servers for additional food and beverage orders.

Also on the Ultimate Upgrade Package agenda is a VIP wildlife tour from animal experts at Wild Florida.

Inside the hotel’s atrium, guests will get up-close to alligators, snakes, tarpon, snook and other animals indigenous to the Sunshine State, and then have a front-row seat for a Wild Florida alligator feeding in the resort’s Gator Springs. The private tour was created just for this package.

When it’s time for theme park fun, Ultimate Upgrade guests enjoy another exclusive feature created just for this package – a private, chauffeured limousine that whisks them in style to and from the front gates of Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Four one-day tickets are included in the package so they can enjoy all four Walt Disney World parks.

After their theme park fun, there’ll be a special in-room gift waiting – a chilled bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a 20th Anniversary charcuterie board with gourmet meats and cheeses. Also featured: fresh honey and honeycomb – straight from the beehives on-site at Gaylord Palms – truffles, homemade chips and dips, and the resort’s new 20th anniversary chocolate-covered strawberry platter.

In addition to all the exciting experiences, the package also includes VIP concierge service provided by the Gaylord Palms Celebrity Services team.

The three-night package for a party of four is $6,500 and valid for stays through November. 17, 2022.
