ABC Holiday Specials Taping At Walt Disney World Next Week

It's only the start of November but here in Orlando, the holidays kick in kinda early around these parts! Halloween might just be over, but in the theme parks, Christmas trees are being decorated and giant wreaths hung from lampposts, yes the most magical time of the year is here!

At Walt Disney World the holiday plans are definitely in full swing as the park prepares for arrival of ABC to begin taping of segments for this year's “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” and "Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade"

The fan-favorite seasonal specials are now confirmed, with filming due to take place in Magic Kingdom, where lucky park guests can witness live musical performances in front of Cinderella's Castle as they are filmed for the ABC holiday specials.

Taping Dates and Times:

Nov. 11, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon

Nov. 12, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and 5 to 9 p.m.

Nov. 13, 2022, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 9:00 p.m.

It remains to be seen whether other segments will be shot in EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year as in previous years.

ABC Holiday Schedule:

November 27

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” is scheduled to air on Nov. 27, 2022, from 8.00 pm - 10 pm EST as part of the ABC holiday line up.

This ABC holiday season staple returns for its seventh year with a dazzling array of all-new musical performances. The special is executive produced by Disney Parks along with Film 45 Live. (8:00-10:00 p.m.)

December 25

"Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade" will air on ABC on Dec, 25, from 10.00 am to 12 pm EST.

Disney's annual Christmas celebration returns Christmas morning with heartwarming stories, dazzling celebrity performances and of course, the Christmas Day Parade!
