Celebrate an enduring Easter Sunday tradition and make memories at Bok Tower Gardens this Easter.
Experience the glory of Easter as the sun rises across Iron Mountain, one of the highest points on the Florida peninsula, along the Lake Wales Ridge in Lake Wales at the Easter Sunrise Service at Bok Tower Gardens.
The first Easter Sunrise Service was held in 1927, and in 2026 Bok Tower Gardens will host its 100th service atop Iron Mountain, on Sunday, April 5, 2026, celebrating 100 years of an enduring and beloved tradition.
The Easter Sunrise Service will include carillon music, sacred hymns, and an inspirational message.
The Entrance Gate at Bok Tower Gardens will opeb at 6 am, with the Visitor Center, and The Shop at Bok open for motorized cart rental. Everone will enjoy free admission fron gate opening at 6 am until 8 am, with donations encouraged.
Bok Tower Gardens’ Carillonneur Geert D’hollander will begin the celebration at 6:30 am with a selection of seasonal compositions performed on the 60-bell Singing Tower carillon. At 7 am, Bogpiper Ben Pugh will perform the processional and Pastor Babers of Parkview Christian Life Center of Haines City, will deliver the inspirational Easter message. The service will conclude with a short celebratory postlude concert performed by D’hollander on the 60-bell Singing Tower carillon.
Historic Bok Tower Gardens, a national historic landmark, features two hiking trails, 50 acres of gardens, the 20-room El Retiro Estate and the 205-foot art deco and neo-Gothic Singing Tower carillon.
Bok Tower Gardens is located at 1151 Tower Boulevard, Lake Wales.
