The Orlando Eye reached new heights this Halloween season, establishing a world record for the most people dressed as witches on an observation wheel as 184 participants took part in the celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Pointed hats and witches’ cloaks filled the attraction’s capsules at sunset as participants enjoyed views of Central Florida from 400 feet above Orlando. The official participant count was verified by Norah White President and CEO - Elect of the I-Drive District, and guests were provided with complimentary admission as a thank you for taking part in history at the iconic attraction.

The record-setting event also highlighted the Halloween celebrations taking place across Merlin Entertainments' Florida attractions. The LEGO Wacky Witch from LEGOLAND Florida Resort surprised guests, representing the resort's Brick or Treat event, where families can enjoy trick-or-treating, character meet-and-greets and seasonal entertainment on select dates through Nov. 1.

Peppa Pig also helped mark the occasion in her Halloween witch costume. At Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, families can continue the seasonal fun during Peppa'sHalloween Party, offered on select dates through Oct. 31 and featuring trick-or-treating, festive décor, seasonal treats and character meet-and-greets.

For a limited time, an Orlando Eye ticket also includes admission to either SEA LIFE Orlando or Madame Tussauds Orlando at no additional cost. Guests can also purchase a three-attraction ticket starting at $39.
