- The Mount Dora Craft Fair brings 350+ exhibitors to the historic streets of downtown
The downtown streets come alive with more than 350 of the best exhibitors in the country ready to show and sell their fine art and fun crafts at this annual. This weekend, Saturday October 25 and Sunday October 26, the number one voted all time favorite arts and craft festival in America returns to the streets of Mount Dora. The Mount Dora Craft Fair is an annual event held on the streets of historic Downtown Mount Dora, at W. 4th Ave Mount Dora. Ranked consistently in the TOP 5 by Sunshine Artist Magazine in their annual ranking of the Best 200 Classic/Contemporary Craft Festivals in America. The Mount Dora Craft Festival was also proud to earn the number 1 spot in their 50th anniversary special ranking edition of all time favorite events published in 2021. The downtown streets come alive with more than 350 of the best exhibitors in the country ready to show and sell their fine art and fun crafts at this annual event. In addition to the hundreds of exhibitors, visitors to the festival can enjoy live entertainment, food, beer, wine, cocktails and some special guest appearances! The will also be henna artists, face painters, and a Kids Art Tent sponsored by Mount Dora Center for the Arts. The festival is held on the streets of the historic walking district of downtown Mount Dora. You can GPS 510 N. Baker St, Mount Dora, FL to get close to the event. Once you see the barricades and tents, you know you have arrived! Public parking can be found across the street from 1st Methodist Church at 439 E 5th Ave, Mt Dora, FL 32757. The lot is small so look around for residents parking cars in their yards. They typically charge around $10 per car and its worth it to get closer to the event. Mount Dora Christian Academy at 301 W. 13th Ave Mt Dora, FL 32757, also offer parking. This is also$10 per car collected by MDCA, with proceeds going to various school programs. Central Florida Veg Fest is an exciting day of colorful and educational exhibits and activities! Central Florida Veg Fest is back, bigger and better than ever! It will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10 am - 6 pm at Orlando Festival Park. The first Veg Fest took place at Lake Lily in Maitland in 2005, and the second through sixth at Loch Haven Park from 2007 to 2011. This is the fourteenth year at Orlando Festival Park. The return of this extremely successful event has been eagerly anticipated! This year's event will include a wide variety of presentations and food preparation demos, and includes new products and ideas from hundreds of healthy living and eco-friendly vendors and contributors. There will be non-profits, fun and games for kids, dog and cat adoptions, restaurant booths, plus live music and entertainment. Central Florida Veg Fest will draw both committed vegans and those who want to learn more about veganism and the varied products and services that support a veg-friendly and an eco-friendly way of life. Not a vegetarian? Whether you're looking for new ideas to add color and variety to your meals or you're a "seasoned" vegetarian interested in expanding your knowledge of nutritious and ethical foods, this is the place for you. Thrice are celebrating the bands extensive career and back catalog, having sold over 1 million records worldwide. G enre-defying legendary rock band Thrice are bringing their headline Fall 2025 North American Tour to Orlando with support from Modern Color and Downward. The fall headline tour comes as the band released their 12th album, Horizons/West on October 3, the follow up to 2021’s Horizons/East. The tour which kicked off on October 17 in San Diego will see the band take to the stage at House of Blues Orlando on Saturday, October 2.
