Park Avenue to transform into Electric Avenue as the 5th Annual EV Car Show rolls into Winter Park

In addition to over 45 vehicles on display, the event will feature an array of sustainability vendors.

In recognition of National Drive Electric Month, the City of Winter Park’s Natural Resources & Sustainability Department is hosting its 5th Annual EV Car Show on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9 to 11 am.

The event will take place in Central Park and along Park Avenue, between Morse Boulevard and Canton Avenue. Official remarks and presentations will begin at 9:45 am featuring city representatives, Keep Winter Park Beautiful & Sustainable (KWPB&S), and silver level sponsors Optimus Energy Solutions and Holler-Classic Family of Dealerships.

Park Avenue will transform into Electric Avenue, showcasing over 45 electric vehicles from

private owners and local dealerships, along with an electric boat and Orange County Public

School’s (OCPS) electric school bus. OCPS will also present their Sustainability In-Action Electric Van, which provides educational in-school field trips on energy conservation, water conservation, solar energy, recycling, gardening and indoor health.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn about electric vehicles, sustainable living, and enjoy a morning of fun for everyone. Family activities include:

• KWPB&S table with giveaways & raffle prizes to be drawn throughout the morning

• Kids zone with games, face painting, bounce obstacle course, music & more

• Animal ambassadors from Amazing Animals, Inc.

• FREE Kona Ice®

• Sustainability booths & vendors

• Educational booths on transportation history & EV usage

This event is located near Winter Park’s newest mobility hub, a forward-thinking component of the Park Avenue Refresh initiative. It reflects the city’s commitment to building smart,

sustainable infrastructure that serves both residents and guests.
