Walt Disney World is renaming its resort hotel categories to hopefully provide a easier description of its various room options.
Walt Disney World have announced that as of May 2023, the names of some room categories at Deluxe hotels will be simplified to three main categories.
For these resorts, Disney will now offer three categories of rooms - resort view, water view, and theme park view.
Until now things have been a little complicated with existing room categories at deluxe hotels including lagoon view, pool view, marina view, standard view, and more.
Hopefully this change will make it easier to request specific rooms!
