Two MAJOR fan-favourite coasters are now closed at Orlando Theme Parks

Today, Tuesday, February 21, two fan-favorite coasters in Orlando are standing idle, closed for maintenance and refurbishment.

First up is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which was due to be closed yesterday, but due to the crazy busy crowds this President Day Weekend at Walt Disney World, Disney made the decision to delay the closure until today, Tuesday, February 21.

The rollercoaster is now closed for an extended refurbishment and is not set to reopen until the summer of 2023.

The closure is not expected to make any changes to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster ride experience, with the refurbishment concentrating on the launch system and general maintenance.

Next up is a very popular coaster at Universal Orlando Resort.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure is now also closed for refurbishment.

The attraction is closed now through March 5, 2023.

The popular coaster opened in June 2019 and replaced the dual racing coaster Dragon Challenge when Universal constructed The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.
