Geneva, is gearing up for its beloved 4th of July celebrations, full of small-town charm and community spirit.


Enjoy a 4th of July full of patriotic tradition and family fun at Geneva's Independence Day Parade & Festival

The heart of rural Central Florida will come alive with red, white and blue as the 2026 Geneva Independence Day Parade & Festival returns on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 8:30 am to 1 pm.


This cherished community celebration will take place throughout historic Geneva, anchored at the Rural Heritage Center, and is proudly presented by the Geneva Citizens Association in partnership with the Rural Heritage Center.


Renowned for its authentic small-town atmosphere, the Geneva 4th of July Parade & Festival brings neighbors, families and visitors together for a memorable morning honoring America’s independence. The event is free and open to the public, making it an ideal holiday destination for all ages.

A Patriotic Morning Packed with Tradition

Festivities begin at 8:30 am with festival vendors opening at the Rural Heritage Center, alongside a popular community car show hosted at Geneva Elementary School, co-sponsored by the Geneva Elementary School PTA and the Geneva Citizens Association. The morning will also feature a formal invocation and flag ceremony, setting a reverent and patriotic tone for the day.


At 9:45 a. spectators can look to the skies for thrilling vintage airplane flyovers, a highlight that adds excitement and historical flair. The parade officially steps off at 10 am, showcasing colorful floats, community groups and hometown pride along the parade route.


Entertainment, Food and Community Spirit

Following the parade, guests are invited to enjoy local food booths, family activities and the beloved Geneva Village Homemakers Cakewalk. Attendees can also participate in float voting, celebrating the creativity and effort of parade participants.


At 11:15 am, the celebration continues with a performance by The Greater Geneva Grande Award Marching Band, adding music and energy to the festivities. Float voting concludes at 12:30 p.m., leading into one of the day’s most meaningful moments – the presentation of the John Edward Jones Patriot Awards at 1:00 p.m., honoring individuals who exemplify service and dedication to community and country.
