Its rumoured that Walt Disney World is working on resuming Minnie Van service to the Orlando International Airport in the very near future!
According to Walt Disney World insiders we can expect to see a limited run out of the service to MCO in December, with regular availability returning in early 2023.
When the Minnie Van personal ride service debuted to offer guests rides between any Walt Disney World Resort hotel and travel to and from Orlando International Airport, the hours of operation for the shuttle service was for flight arrivals 7 a.m.-10 p.m. and for flight departures 9 a.m.-12 a.m.
Each Minnie Van can hold up to six passengers and eight medium-sized suitcases, with up to three complimentary car seats.
After the covid shutdown at Walt Disney World, the Minnie Vans were slow to return, only resuming service in June 2022, but with some limitations such as no airport service.
Now, permits for the Orlando International Airport service have been renewed with MCO for the next two years.
No official word yet from Walt Disney World, but expect an announcement soon.
