Sunset at the Zoo kicks off May 22 at Central Florida Zoo celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage

Presented by Orlando Health, enjoy extra time at the Zoo, while celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage.

Sunset at the Zoo, presented by Orlando Health, returns this Friday, May 22 at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, located at 3755 W. Seminole Blvd. Sanford.

This is one of the best ways to enjoy the Zoo on a budget—just $6 online ($8 at the gate)—and at the perfect time of day when temps cool down and the sun sets.

Sunset at the Zoo takes place very fourth Friday of the month from May through September. From 5 - 8 pm, guests can enjoy food trucks, animal encounters, keeper chats, kid-friendly activities, vendors, and more, with a different theme each month.

Sunset at the Zoo, presented by Orlando Health, returns May 22 with a vibrant kickoff celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage. 

Experience a lively evening inspired by the cultures, traditions, and flavors of AAPI communities, all set against the backdrop of the Zoo.

Guests can enjoy delicious food trucks, sunset-only bites at Graze, local vendors and community tables, kid-friendly games, animal enrichment, extra Keeper Chats, plus Barnyard Buddies and giraffe feedings.

During Sunset at the Zoo, doors reopen at 5 pm and offers up fun until the sun goes down. Last admission for each event is 7:30 pm.

Tickets are just $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person at the gate. The event is separate from day admission and is not included for Annual Passholders. Families can also purchase a $46 Family 4-Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, online only.
