New Visitor Information Center now open in Cocoa Beach - Drop in on your next visit!

The next time you decide on a beach day to Orlando's closest beach - Cocoa Beach, make sure you visit the new Visitor Information Center that has recently opened.

As tourist numbers continue to climb, and demand for information on Cocoa Beach and the surrounding areas, the Space Coast Office of Tourism made the decision to open a new visitor center in Cocoa Beach.

The space soft-opened last October to serve visitors and residents seeking information about attractions, events, and more in the area, and now the location is fully open.

The Visitor Information Center is currently open Monday through Friday, 10 am - 6 pm (closed for lunch from 1 - 2.)

“The new Visitor Information Center will not only be a place for tourists and residents alike to ask questions and pick up brochures about local attractions but will be designed to be a place to spark curiosity and interest in the Space Coast,” says Peter Cranis, Executive Director. “The mural, painted by local artist Lyssa Wyn of Barefoot and Doodles, will be the perfect place for the first selfie of a vacation or for guests to create their very own ‘wish you were here’ style photo.”

In addition to the mural, the Visitor Information Center will have an exhibit space with displays and artifacts on temporary loan from local museums and attractions.

The first display comes from Brevard Zoo and will include a crocodile skull, giraffe skull & vertebrae, and other artifacts.
