Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopens ahead of schedule, just in time for the heat!

Just in time for our near record highs, and perfect for a cool-me-down, Kali River Rapid's at Disney's Animal Kingdom has reopened ahead of its scheduled return from refurbishment.

Animal Kingdom’s popular water ride closed for an extended refurbishment on January 9.

At the time Walt Disney Wold announced that Kali River Rapids will be closed for a multi-month period, with the ride not due to reopen until March 17.

But earlier this morning, the ride reopened to guests with the work completed early.
