Iconic Universal Monsters Removed From Outside Former Cafe At Universal Studios Florida

The Universal Monsters have packed up and waved goodbye to Universal Studios Florida forever as they prepare to move into Universal Orlando's brand new Epic Universe theme park which is slated to open in Summer 2025, where the Universal Monsters will have a whole land dedicated to the iconic classic monsters.

Universal Studios Classic Monsters Cafe closed earlier this year in May, and then last week the Universal Monsters drink stand outside the former cafe, Bone Chillin’ drinks stand finally closed too.

Now sadly, the iconic Frankenstein, Wolfman, and Creature From the Black Lagoon statues spinning on top are gone too.

All that is left of the monsters once stood is the rotating ring atop the former Bone Chillin’.

The already closed Monsters Café is rumored to become a Minion Cafe alongside the upcoming Minions attraction currently under construction in the old Shrek ride building.

Construction fences now surround the area and the signage for the Universal Classic Monsters Cafe is to be removed very soon, leaving no trace that the Universal Monsters were ever in the park.
