Are you ready to become a conservation hero? Join Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford on Saturday, April 22 to Party for the Planet and take part in the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America!
Highlights include activities, animal encounters, games, crafts and more, all to help share how you can help protect our planet and its animal residents.
Central Florida Zoo will host a special conservation day, Party for the Planet in celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, which will include interactive activities, special enrichment for the animals and more.
Guests can attend the zoo and be part of the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America and enjoy a scavenger hunt, games, crafts and more to inspire visitors to take action to care for the planet and its animals.
Plus, to make sure all can celebrate, the Zoo will also open one hour early for guests and families with sensory needs.
Guests who have sensory needs can enter at 8 am, and from 8 to 9am., the Zoo will have special operations to accommodate them, including limited attendance for quieter crowds; sensory bags available with noise-cancelling headphones, fidget tools; and a dedicated classroom for safe space to take a break if needed.
The Zoo will open to the public at 9am., and the Party for the Planet will continue until 3 pm.
This event is included in general Zoo admission.
