This week saw the return of Ramen Rumble to Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs with 5 chefs competing for the title of the next Ramen King of Central Florida.
Back by popular demand, Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs hosted the fifth annual Ramen Rumble in partnership with event founders Jason & Sue Chin of Good Salt Restaurant Group on Monday, January 23.
Five of Orlando’s best and brightest chefs competed for the championship title, bragging rights, and the coveted “Broth Belt” trophy.
Each contestant manned their own soup station, presenting their unique style of ramen filled with creative toppings and interesting textures for guests to sample and vote on, crowning the next Ramen King of Central Florida.
This year’s winner and recipient of the “Broth Belt” trophy, was Executive Chef Michael Cooper from The Osprey Orlando who was victorious with his Jjamppong Spicy Korean Seafood Ramen.
Plus, best of all, over $12K was raised for Give Kids the World.
