Orlando's Head Coach Terrell Buckley said “The Guardians have touched down in Orlando, and I am back in the Sunshine State to lead the way with smart, fast, and fearless football for our fans,”

He continued "Visiting teams better prepare for a sea of green guarding over Camping World Stadium.”

The Orlando Guardians joins seven other teams across the country whose names and logos were all revealed on Monday: The Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, San Antonio Brahmas, St. Louis BattleHawks, DC Defenders, Seattle Sea Dragons and the Vegas Vipers .

The XFL explained that each team name and logo was selected to align with its community’s culture and history.

The XFL’s ownership group, which includes Dwayne Johnson, bills the new football league as a “fan-first, fast-paced global professional football league with innovative rules and enhanced 360 game experience.”

XFL owner Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson commented "Every one of these logos has a unique energy, intensity, and electricity that each team and their fans will bring on game day. Now is the time for our fans to get behind a team – THEIR team – and wear these logos and represent their city with pride."

The Guardians will play at Camping World Stadium here in Orlando, with tickets starting at $20.
