If anything screams Halloween, it’s a spooky ghost tour, and especially a night time ghost tour through the haunted history of Downtown Sanford

When you embark on a Sanford Ghost Tour, an expert guide with a certain sixth sense will lead you on an excursion into the supernatural as they let you in on unearthed secrets of ghostly encounters with former residents of Sanford.

While this isn’t ghost hunting, you will get to see the sights and venture, if you dare, to a historic building that is rumored to be haunted by lingering spirits, and whether you enjoy hearing about chilling ghost tales, roaming popular paranormal spots, or just enjoy a scary good IPA… Sanford Ghost Tours offers a choice of two tours, read on for all the details.

Sanford Ghost Tour

Dare to experience a Historical Ghost Walking Tour in Historic Downtown Sanford, Florida! During this ghost walk, prepare to be regaled with tales of old and new concerning ghostly experiences in the downtown area, culminating with a walk to an actual haunted building!

You will be presented with an overview of ghostly activities by an expert guide as you walk the streets learning historical stories gathered from the people who live in Sanford themselves.

Incorporated in 1877, the stories of Sanford's past residents and those still lurking around are plentiful.

Ghost tours with your ghost host take off at 7 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, with a maximum group size of 12.

Tickets start at $25 and all ages are encouraged to join in on the spooktacular night walk.

Sanford’s Haunted Brewery Tour

This Halloween season, you can mark on a Sanford Haunted Brewery Tour.

Enjoy the haunted tales of ghostly experiences in Historic Downtown Sanford while sipping some delicious craft beer from three popular craft beer establishments:

• Sanford Homebrew Shop – A homebrewer must-do, this shop is also a nano-brewery making artisan small batch beers!

• Deviant Wolf- this tap room brews a broad selection of true-to-style beers without sacrificing their passion for experimenting.

• Dees Brothers Brewery – located in a 100-year-old building, Dee’s offers a wide selection of craft beer brewed right in Sanford.

This 90-minute tasting tour starts at 8:30 pm every Saturday is led by BJCP Certified Beer Judge, Gary Holmes. Tickets start at $35.

Learn historical stories gathered from the people who live in Sanford themselves while getting intimate with our local brewers and Sanford craft beer.

Beer samples are included as part of this tour. All participants on tour must be 21 years of age and fill out a digital waiver.
