EPCOT Forever nighttime spectacular will return to EPCOT on April 3 after Harmonious ends.
Walt Disney World have confirmed today, January 10, that Harmonious will have its final performance on April 2, 2023, and that EPCOT Forever will return to the park on April 3.
They also confirmed the “phased removal of fireworks platforms following the final “Harmonious” performance”.
So yes the barges are going away forever!!
This news confirms what the company shared at D23 Expo in September, that an all-new nighttime spectacular is planned to debut at EPCOT later this year.
Before the new show launches,EPCOT Forever will return as an interim show over the skies of World Showcase Lagoon starting April 3.
Similar to how it appeared in 2021, EPCOT Forever will be shown nightly while Disney's Entertainment team preps the Lagoon, including the phased removal of fireworks platforms following the final Harmonious performance on April 2.
A limited-time spectacle of lasers, lighting, special effects, and fireworks, EPCOT Forever returns with a collection of songs that offer both a trip down memory lane and a look toward the future.
