Malls, restaurants, and grocery stores across Central Florida closed on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 due to the incoming Hurricane Ian, and many stores remained closed Thursday as the storm passed through the area.
Local businesses are now returning to normal, with malls, grocery stores and restaurants all re-opening.

DISNEY SPRINGS
Disney Springs at Walt Disney World will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.
All restaurants and stores will be operating at these times.
THE FLORIDA MALL
The Florida Mall has announced that the popular South Orange Blossom Trail shopping mall is to re-open Friday, September 30. from 1 pm until 9 pm.
It is unknown at this time which stores will be open or closed, as individual retailers will determine if they wish to re-open tomorrow or not.
ICON PARK
Select restaurants at ICON Park on International Drive began re-opening last night Thursday, September 29.
It is expected that most restaurants and attractions will be operating as normal today, Friday September 30, but guests are requested to reach out to individual businesses for their re-opening schedule.
POINTE ORLANDO
Pointe Orlando on International Drive will be open as normal today, Friday, September 30.
THE MALL AT MILLENIA
The Mall at Millenia will re-open on Friday, September 30 from 11am to 9pm.
PREMIUM OUTLETS, VINELAND & INTERNATIONAL DRIVE
Both Orlando are Premium Outlet Malls are re-opening today, Friday, September 30, although the malls have not revealed a re-opening time.
PUBLIX
Stores are now re-opening, Friday, September 30, and the company are urging you to check with your local store to see when they are re-opening.
Customers can access a map of the nearest Publix store near you to check opening and closing times, and you can also call your local Publix store to see if they are operating under normal store hours.
