Celebrity Chefs Blast Off To Kennedy Space Center For A Taste Of Space This Fall

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is currently offering visitors a tasty menu of mouth-watering soups, desserts, drinks and more during it's annual Taste of Space food festival.

The Taste of Space: Fall Bites festival is currently taking place now through November 6, 2022 at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.

And now, an extra special event has been added as part of this year's festival, The 2022 Taste of Space Celebrity Edition.

The 2022 Taste of Space Celebrity Edition is a star-studded culinary experience featuring acclaimed chefs Rocco DiSpirito (Tournament of Champions, Guy's Grocery Games), Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes, Kids Baking Championship) and Marc Murphy (Chopped, Chopped Junior)

All three chefs will be cooking up something special on the evening of Friday, November 4, 2022, inside Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.

The Chef Demonstration and Tasting is a one-of-kind evening event that features celebrity chefs Rocco DiSpirito, Duff Goldman, and Marc Murphy as they demonstrate their expert cooking techniques on stage and sharing custom menu samplings with the audience.

Veteran NASA astronauts Bruce Melnick, Scott Altman, and Sandra Magnus will also be in attendance to mingle and share their stories of eating in space, such as some of their favorite foods from their space flights.

Finally, you can't miss an out-of-this-world cake designed by master baker Goldman coming from his bakery, Charm City Cake Shop.

Located in the Kennedy Space Center’s newest attraction, Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, the demonstration includes samplings from the chefs’ tasting menu.

It will also include two alcoholic drink tickets, a cash bar, photo opportunities with the astronauts, a signed commemorative piece by the chefs and astronauts, and a custom event pin.

The demonstration and tasting will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and guests can explore Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex until 10:30 p.m.

Tickets to this event cost $$175 per person, plus tax with a $40 discount on tickets for Annual Passholders.
