Those who have someone with special needs in the family will want to save the date for the first Sensory Day of the year at WonderWorks Orlando. The special Sensory Day event will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 9 am until noon.

This time will be dedicated to providing guests with a fun and memorable experience, toned down to make it more comfortable for those with special needs. Additionally, WonderWorks is kicking off the year with returning Homeschool Days, a discount Family Fun Day, and more.

“Visitors are sure to enjoy a calm and comfortable morning when attending our Sensory Day. We believe ‘edu-tainment’ should be accessible to all, so we love hosting these sensory-friendly events throughout the year and chatting with the families who utilize them,” said Brian Wayne, general manager at WonderWorks Orlando.

During the upcoming Sensory Day, all music and loud exhibits will be turned down throughout the facility. Additionally, the Inversion Tunnel will be stopped. These measures will help create a calmer environment for those with special needs. There will still be plenty of fun for the whole family, giving people a chance to learn, explore, andplay at their own pace.

Tickets for Sensory Day will be $15 per person, plus tax. They can be purchased at the

box office upon arrival or online.

In addition to being a great resource for local families, this event is an excellent opportunity for special education groups to plan a visit to the attraction.

Groups and organizations visiting are encouraged to work with the sales team in advance to ensure a smooth visit. The event is ideal for those who need an environment that is not overly stimulating, but still offers opportunities that are fun and educational.
