April 7, or 407 Day is a day to show support to local businesses and restaurants, and share all that you love about Orlando.

Show your hometown pride by shopping at and supporting your favorite local businesses on 407 Day, This annual event is organized by The City of Orlando, Orange County Government, Orlando Economic Partnership, and Visit Orlando.
It is inspired by Orlando’s longstanding area code 407, encouraging residents to support their preferred restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, services, and other locally-owned businesses by sharing posts and photos on social media using the hashtag #407Day during their visits.
407 Day is back for 2026, and this year the celebration is kicking off early, with the festivities incorporating Orlando's second area code, 321, inviting everyone to express their hometown pride by supporting local businesses and enjoying all that Orlando has to offer from March 21 (3/21) to April 7 (4/07).

The Orlando Jazz Festival at Mennello Museum of American Art, 900 East Princeton Street, Orlando is an intimate, lakeside celebration of contemporary jazz that brings world-class artists to Central Florida in a thoughtfully curated setting. The festival highlights musicians who are actively shaping the future of the genre, with a special focus on innovation, cultural storytelling, and deep musical expression.
March 26
Top men’s international soccer national teams will take the pitch in the United States on the “Road to 26” this March, with South America’s Brazil and Colombia facing off against Europe’s Croatia at Camping World Stadium. The series of matches, played in three major U.S. markets in Boston, Orlando and Washington, D.C., will serve as the final tests before this summer.

A Quacktacular Day of Family Fun for everyone featuring Little Yellow Rubber Duck Races at Mead Botanical Gardens, 1300 S Denning Dr, Winter Park.
April 1
Join us for Kaleidoscope 360° and Luminary Market, a free, family-friendly outdoor movie night and market at Luminary Green Park in Creative Village for the film WALL-E! Bring a blanket or chair and settle in under the stars for this movie night, seating is first come, first served. Enjoy bites from rotating food trucks that will be providing the tastiest movie bites all night, or until they sell out!

Experience "The 2nd Annual Taste of Winter Park", on Wednesday April 1st, at the Winter Park Farmers Market Venue. Taste of Baldwin Park offers something for everyone, featuring food, wine, craft beer, live music, fun and more. Foodies & Wine lovers bring your friends or make it a romantic date night out. Sip & savor your way through Baldwin Park's best night out under the stars, while enjoying great music on two stages, and a gorgeous lakeside venue!

Attention history lovers! Did you know that every first Friday of the month from October - May, we offer a free, guided tour of the Downtown Historic District? You heard right, FREE! Tours feature architectural and historic information about some of downtown Orlando’s oldest and most historic buildings.

3, 2,1… Blast off! Prepare for takeoff at OMA by making a paper space helmet and designing on a wooden rocket using paint, markers, stickers, and more. Learn about space exploration by viewing the exhibition, Dennis Scholl: A Day of Four Sunsets.

Suit up for a spectacular superhero evening in Leu Gardens with an outdoor showing of Superman (2025) - where capes, adventure, and movie magic take flight under the stars.
April 4 - 5
For the largest arts and crafts festival series in Orlando, look no further than Spring Fiesta in the Park, hosted annually in downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park. Browse distinctive art from hundreds of artists and crafters, plus pose for photos with iconic works of art like The Muse of Discovery, one of six public art installations throughout the park. Enjoy live entertainment, mingle with artists and art lovers from all over the country, and enjoy fresh flavorful fare from local eateries in the heart of Orlando’s thriving Thornton Park District.

Join us for Free Admission Day presented by Orlando Health on the first Monday of each month to explore the Gardens. Plus, enjoy free Story Time for families with infants to preschool age offered by Orange County Library System (OCLS) on first Monday of each month excluding holidays.

Join us on select Tuesdays from 10 am-12 pm for hands-on activities and creative play designed just for little ones! Enjoy an interactive sing-along featuring the Colors of Kindness: Crayellow (Hello Sunshine) at 10:30am! Plus, we'll have plenty of toddler friendly products to play with and a character appearance at 11:30 am.

Since its founding in 1924, OMA has been prominent in Central Florida’s cultural landscape. Located in the heart of Loch Haven Park, OMA has established itself as a premier institution for visual art education and experiences, showcasing American, contemporary, and international art.

Right now at OMA you can experience David LaChapelle: As the World Turns, the largest U.S. museum retrospective of the visionary photographer and director. As the World Turns brings together more than 100 works – from early career milestones to premiere creations – tracing LaChapelle’s ever-evolving exploration of fame, faith, beauty and the human condition.
Rollins Museum of Art

Open to the public free year-round, its holdings include the only European Old Master paintings in the Orlando area, a sizeable American art collection, and a forward-thinking contemporary collection.
Mennello Museum

Orange County Regional History Center
The Orange County Regional History Center housed in a historic courthouse in the heart of downtown Orlando, offers four floors of exhibits exploring 12,000 years of Central Florida’s rich heritage.
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
The Morse Museum in Winter Park is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of dazzling works by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
Artlando
Grab a map from the DT Orlando Information Center and go on a self-guided tour of downtown Orlando's streets to discover the contemporary sculptures which are Art Orlando. Not only will you get to know Downtown as you walk around, you’ll be seriously impressed by these stunning works of art.

Waste Away The Day At Dinky Dock
Spend a day at the beach in Winter Park. Dinky Dock is a 1.56-acre year-round park and offers a fishing pier and boat ram.Yes there is a beach and swimming is permitted.

Relax amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando’s skyline and the gorgeous Lake Eola, enjoy the swans and other birds inhabiting the park, or you can check out a free concert, movie or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater.
Harry P Leu Gardens
Explore an amazing botanical oasis nearly 50-acres minutes from Downtown Orlando. Harry P Leu Gardens features landscaped grounds and lakes, with walking trails all shaded by 200-year-old oaks and forests of camellias. Free entry days at Leu Gardens are offered on select Mondays throughout the year, check the website for details.
In 2026, Harry P. Leu Gardens proudly marks its 65th anniversary with a celebration titled Legacy in Bloom—a vibrant tribute to the enduring beauty, growth, and impact of this beloved public garden. Visitors will experience a dynamic calendar of events, programs, exhibits, and installations that honor the Gardens’ rich past, thriving present, and bold future.
The UCF Arboretum
The Arboretum of the University of Central Florida is located on the main campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, United States. Covering 80 acres, it contains more than 600 species of plants, including more than 100 bromeliads, in cultivated gardens.
Mead Botanical Garden
With 47 acres to explore in Winter Park, your senses will come alive with the sights, sounds, and scents of the garden. Mead Botanical Garden offers hiking trails, creek, boardwalk, tall pine trees, greenhouse, butterfly garden, and pond that’s home to turtles, fish and wading birds.
Orlando Urban Trail
The Orlando Urban Trail is located near Downtown Orlando and is considered the spine of Orlando’s trail network.
The trail is approximately three miles long and runs from Lake Highland through Loch Haven Park, to Mead Garden in Winter Park. Highlights include connections to six lakes, Orlando Cultural Park, and the Gaston Edwards Trail.
West Orange Trail
The West Orange Trail is a 22-mile long multi-use rail trail. The paved trail passes through downtown Oakland, Winter Garden, and Apopka with most of its length built on old railroad alignments.
Lake Nona Sculpture Garden
The Lake Nona Sculpture Garden is a 50,000 square-foot outdoor space designed for the exploration and discovery of a distinguished selection of sculptures from one of the world’s largest private art collections, The Lewis Collection.
Orlando Wetlands Park
The Orlando Wetlands Park is a man-made wetland designed to provide advanced treatment for reclaimed water from the City of Orlando and other local cities. The Park is 1650 acres in size and located in Christmas, Florida. Visitors can visit the Park seven days a week, between sunrise and sunset, to enjoy primitive and passive activities including, Photography, Wildlife Viewing, Hiking, Biking, Horseback Riding, and Guided Tours

If you’re looking for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, honey, meats and other foods, the best place to visit is a local Central Florida farmers market. Check out the markets open this Sunday, 407 Day.
Orlando Farmers Market at Lake Eola Park
One of the most popular farmers markets in Central Florida, Orlando Farmer’s Market is located in the heart of Orlando at Lake Eola park, and takes place Sundays 10 am - 4 pm.
Celebration Farmers Market
Every week at Celebration Farmers Market there are multiple vendors here selling everything from fresh food and produce, to local crafted jewelry, and much more, with a beautiful backdrop of Lakeside Park, this is a must go to farmers market on Sundays, 9 am - 2 pm.
East Orlando Farmer's Market
The popular East Orlando Farmers Market offers hand selected produce, creative local small business owners, along with botanical varieties to chose from. Every Sunday 11 am - 4 pm.

Orlando Murals
Take a walk through downtown Orlando, and you’ll discover art in unexpected places, including larger-than-life butterflies, a vintage Orlando postcard, hanging gardens, even a parking garage covered with murals, and the latest downtown mural, Unbelievable Real!
Lake Eola
Some towns are built on the shorelines of a lake. Not Downtown Orlando. DT has the whole lake at its urban center, and it’s a beautiful stretch of water surrounded by verdant parklands.
The lake has a walkable circumference of just under one mile and covers almost twenty-three acres. The iconic Lake Eola Fountain, elegantly sprays water jets by day and by night, illuminates the lake with an amazing display of colored lighting.
There’s a market held in Lake Eola Park every Sunday, plus frequent festivals and open-air concerts take place in the park and the Walt Disney Amphitheater

Swan Swooning At Lake Eola
One of the most photographed and iconic places in Downtown Orlando is its crown jewel, Lake Eola Park.
Even if you’re a local, you haven’t lived until you’ve taken a voyage across Lake Eola on a swan paddle boat. Each boat holds up to four passengers and can be rented Tuesday - Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.
After your ride, take a walk around the park to see five different species of swans.

Know your History, Visit Orange County History Center
Explore the five stories of the Orange County History Center to discover all about Orlando’s past plus lots of regional Florida history too.
The museum on Central Boulevard in DT Orlando is housed in a neoclassical, late 1920’s building which was originally a courthouse. There are diverse exhibitions ranging from agriculture to aviation and space travel.
Examples of the flora and fauna of Florida, replicas of pioneer cabins and stories and artifacts of the Indigenous natives and African Americans.
The History Center offers a fascinating insight into how life has changed in Florida over the past one hundred years morphing from an agricultural community into tourism.
Visit The Electrifying Orlando Science Center
Orlando Science Center is Central Florida’s award-winning, hands-on science museum. For more than 60 years, our exhibits and programming have brought science to life for not just residents of Central Florida, but also visitors from around the world.
With four floors of interactive exhibit halls, labs and workshops, theaters, an observatory, and experiences that change with the seasons, there is always something exciting for our 670,000 annual visitors to see and do at Orlando Science Center.

Step Back in Time To Old Orlando
Mixing architecture and history is a great way to spend the day and learn more about downtown Orlando with the self-guided Historic Districts Walking Tour.
You’ll learn about structures that were designed and built when horses were still clopping along Church Street and see how they’ve been adapted for modern uses.

East End Market
The East End Market is a neighborhood market & food hall in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando featuring a vast array of artisanal vendors in one marketplace, from bakers to pasta makers to coffee roasters.

Thornton Park
Just east of the central Lake Eola, you’ll find this cool and quiet neighbourhood that really feels like you’ve escaped the city for an out-of-town suburb.
This charming neighborhood is home to some of Orlando's best restaurants, hip cafés, cool galleries and a few bistros, all set around some ever-so-quaint old cobbled streets.
Well worth a few hours to stretch your legs and take in the sights and sounds of Thornton Park.
