Busch Gardens Tampa Teases New Screamin’ Swing Attraction For 2023

While no official announcement has been made, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has recently been teasing an all-new thrilling attraction for 2023.

The Tampa area theme park has shared some exciting photographs showing the installation of a very brightly painted S&S Screamin’ Swing.

It has been rumoured that Busch Gardens had been planning to install a Screamin' Swing attraction in the area formerly occupied by Rhino Rally, with construction visible from within the park, most prominently near the elephant enclosure, in the site of the park’s former Rhino Rally safari attraction.

Screamin' Swings are pneumatically-powered pendulum rides that can speed up to 68 mph, with a capacity of 32 or 40 passengers per ride cycle.

Twin dueling arms will alternate sides and sway back-and-forth, creating multiple airtime moments that levitate guests out of their seats with each swing.

Riders’ legs will dangle and hang as they soar, all while reaching multiple negative G moments before plunging back towards the earth.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment who own Busch Gardens Tampa have Identical versions of this attraction already open at sister parks Busch Gardens Williamsburg (picture above) and SeaWorld San Antonio.

We can't wait for this new thrill ride, and to get us all in the mood, we have shared a POV of Finnegan's Flyer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
