Brevard Zoo in Melbourne have two adorable bloodhound puppies, and they want everyone to help name one of the new pups.
The two female pups came to Brevard Zoo from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, where they were part of a litter of 10 that was born to the sheriff's office K-9's Daisy Mae and Blu,
While 8 pups are staying with the sheriff's office, the two pus at the zoo will help provide education and awareness to Brevard Zoo visitors, where they will be a part of the Barnyard area.
The duo is still acclimating to their new caretakers and the Zoo while undergoing a quarantine period – standard for any new animal resident to ensure no illnesses are introduced to the rest of the Zoo population.
In the meantime, Brevard Zoo need a name for one of the pups. One is already named Cindy after a beloved Brevard County Sheriff’s Office donor. She has been lovingly nicknamed Cindy “Pawford” by her Animal Ambassador team.
Now the zoo want help to choose the perfect name for the second pup
The options are:
Hillary Ruff
Lucy Pawles
Tyra Barks
Sarah Jessica Barker
Voting is open until 5 p.m. on February 20, with all proceeds will be used to cover the cost of animal care at the Zoo.
Your donation will go toward giving animal residents like the two bloodhound puppies and their Barnyard family the best possible veterinary care, fun enrichment, tailored diets and more.
