Today, Monday, April 10, JetBlue announced the return of non-stop service between Worcester Regional Airport, Massachusetts and Orlando International Airport. Seats are out for sale today with fares as low as $34. JetBlue will welcome back service between Worcester and Orlando beginning June 15, 2023 and will be the only airline to offer nonstop service between the two cities. This return to service further advances JetBlue’s plans to become Orlando’s national low fare carrier of choice. After completion of its planned combination with Spirit, JetBlue expects to reach more than 200 daily departures from Orlando by 2027, as the combination will unlock growth opportunities that would not otherwise be possible. Great news for the Orlando arts community as a new theater company is set to bring even more theatre and music to the City Beautiful. The White Elephant Theatre Company, founded by local entertainer and drag performer Robert Crane, has announced that they are wanting to open the doors to a new theater space, The White Elephant Cabaret Theatre on May 5. The White Elephant Cabaret Theatre will be located at a former church located at 1123 W. Fairbanks Avenue in Orlando, the space is being transformed into a 100-seat, cabaret-style performing arts venue and will not only be home to White Elephant Theatre Company productions but also any theatre production company, cabaret performer, pianist, vocalists and those needing a home to present their art. Founder and Artistic Director Robert Crane said "We want the space to be a venue for all, especially those who are underserved and disenfranchised with a focus on diversitv and inclusion." Where they can obtain a pertormance space at a reasonable cost. The theater will be offering cabaret style performances in the early evening known as The Clock out and Cabaret Series with theatrical and musical presentations in the evening. The Clock out and Cabaret Series is tentatively scheduled to begin approximately May 5, with its first grand opening theatrical presentation in Mid-June. As Disney's Animal Kingdom gets ready to celebrate its 25th Anniversary on Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, the park which celebrates Earth Day each year, will be bringing unique characters to the park as it officially turns 25. Walt Disney World has announced today, Monday, April 10 that it is bringing unique character appearances at Animal Kingdom on the Discovery River Character Cruise starting April 16 through April 23.. Here’s the exciting announcement which reveals the new character appearances: Mickey, Minnie and Scrooge McDuck are just some of the Disney Characters to be found on flotillas along the Discovery River in Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Plus, from April 16 through 23, there will be unique Character appearances on the Discovery River Character Cruise—so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for these and additional Character experiences and sightings. This weekend, Star Wars Celebration Europe is taking place in London, and we have already brought you news from the Disney Parks: Where Star Wars Comes to Life panel where Imagineer Scott Trowbridge announced that there will be new adventures coming to the Star Tours attraction in 2024. Now Trowbridge has teased that new characters will be coming soon to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Although he did not mention which characters would be coming to Galaxy's Edge, he hinted that the characters could be related to upcoming new media in the franchise. This could mean characters from any number of new Disney+ original series may visit Black Spire Outpost in the future. Trowbridge did not say which Galaxy's Edge the characters would be appearing in either.. The adventure is not over yet for Star Tours at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World! Despite rumours that Star Tours – The Adventures Continue would be re-themed or worse still - demolished at Hollywood Studios due to the addition of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, it never happened, and the adventure looks set to continue for many yeas to come!! Last year at Star Wars Celebration, it was announced that Star Tours would receive new locations, and now we know it will and at all three locations that the attraction is in, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris At the Disney Parks: Where Star Wars Comes to Life panel during the 2023 Star Wars Celebration in London, Imagineer Scott Trowbridge announced that there will be new adventures coming to all three Star Tours in 2024. Britain's favourite Saturday night TV show, Saturday Night Takeaway with Ant and Dec is broadcasting live to the U.K. today Saturday, April 8, at 2 pm EST / 7 pm UK time from Universal Orlando Resort. The stage is set with the massive TV set in place at Universal's Island's Of Adventure, with Velocicoaster and The Incredible Hulk Coaster acting as the perfect backdrop for the live TV show. ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway will be hosted today by the popular presenters of the show, Anthony "Ant" McPartlin and Declan "Dec" Donnelly who are the most successful TV presenters in the UK, and are actually in the Guinness Book Of Records for "the most National Television Awards won consecutively for Best Presenters. They will be assisted by show regulars Andy Peters, Jordan North, and Fluer East. Nicole Scherzinger will also be appearing in the today's show as guest announcer, and is singing in the show's finale scene, The End Of The Show Show with the UCF Marching Band! In the last few days the presenting team have been filming segments for the show at various locations around Universal Orlando Resort including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where Ant and Dec together with show regular Stephen Mulhern dressed in their Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry uniforms. Co-host Stephen Mulhern also presents his own show on ITV called In For A Penny, and he was spotted in Universal Studios Florida filming an American version of the show called In For A Cent! The reason the show is filming in UniversAl Orlando is because in the build up to today's finale, the show gave away over 200 tickets to the UK public for a flight to Orlando with British Airways, and in addition to the flights, each winner of the tickets has received 6 nights accommodations at Endless Summer Resort Surfside Inn and Suites at Universal Orlando Resort, plus tickets for the parks, and $2000 per person to spend on dining and shopping at Universal CityWalk! The winners flight flew out from London Heathrow to Orlando International on April 3. with a plane packed with show winners, as well as the presenters Ant and Dec, and the production crew. This is not the first time that the show has ran this competition and broadcast live from Orlando, pre-pandemic the show has been broadcast live from Orlando several times, alternating between Universal Orlando Resort at CityWalk and on Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World. The show was last broadcast from Orlando five years ago.
