  • Gasparilla Music Festival IS returning this year, with a new home at Curtis Hixon Park in April

Following uncertainty that this year's Gasparilla Music Festival would be going ahead, organisers have confirmed that the popular festival is coming back this year, albeit with a new location. In a normal year, Gasparilla Music Festival would have happened by now, with the festival usually happening at the end of February or early March, however, water intrusion issues came to light earlier this year with the site where the festival usually takes place at Kiley Garden which have caused the city to shut down all events in the area, and in turn throwing the festival into doubt. Now however, fetival organizers hve found a new home for the Gasparilla Music Festival, which will now take place in Curtis Hixon Park on April 29 and 30, 2023. Here’s the full announcement from organizers regarding this year’s delayed event: “As you may have heard, we have been informed by the city that Kiley Gardens Park cannot be used for GMF this year. While this news has led to some changes to our programming for 2023, it has also opened up some new opportunities to expand our footprint and create some exciting new experiences for GMF 2023. We look forward to sharing those along with an incredible lineup in the coming weeks!” Early bird and VIP tickets go on sale March 10. As yet no artists have been revealed for the festival, but organisers promise details soon.
