Orlando Public Library & Orange County Regional History Trick or Treat Safe Zone returns October 28

Dress up and trick or treat at Orlando Public Library and Orange County Regional History Center on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Create creepy crafts and complete a scavenger hunt!

Enjoy trick or treating throughout the Orange County Regional History Center and the Orlando Public Library along with creepy crafts, candy, games, and more!

Costumes are encouraged but not required, and best of all, it's free admission, although all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Check out all the fun to be had:

Mummy-fication Yarn Wrap: Kids will use yarn and a doll cutout to create their very own mummy.

Monstrous Puppets: Goblins, werewolves, and ghouls – oh, my! Using craft materials, kids can create their very own monster puppets!

Pony Bead Pumpkins: Pumpkins just may be the best part of fall. While some pumpkins grow on vines, these grow from your mind! Kids will use beads to craft a perfect pumpkin.

Design Your Own Spooky Face Masks: Scratch off the design to reveal your true color, and use these at our photo booth!

Mystery Touch Bin: Rat tails? Witches fingers? Or is it . . . pasta noodles? Test your senses by reaching your hand into the mystery box!

Dance Floor: Join us on the dance floor as we boogie the day away to our favorite spooky tunes!

Photo Opportunity: A photo wall with props next to the dance floor will offer opportunities to capture great memories!

Boo Bubbles: What makes these magical bubbles disappear with a cloud of smoke? Find out at the boo bubble station where bubbles and dry ice interact!

Scavenger Hunt: Complete the scavenger hunt and receive a prize.

Candy Stations: A sweet tradition!

Fair Games: In this room full of fair games such as plinko, mini golf, a witch-hat toss, and more, kids can earn prizes as they complete the games.
