Registration is now open for charity event, bringing nearly 400 participants to Seminole State Forest, including mobility-impaired athletes in EcoRover tracked chairs. The 7th Annual Run for the Woods returns to Seminole State Forest, Bear Pond Trailhead, 31989 Wekiva River Rd, Sorrent on Sunday, February 14, 2027, for a day of trail running, hiking and outdoor adventure! 400 participants, including a group of mobility-impaired athletes will navigate the 5K course in EcoRover tracked chairs alongside fellow runners, hikers and walkers. The charity event will feature a 5K, 12K (7.14 miles) and half-marathon through the scenic trails of Seminole State Forest. The event showcases how tracked chairs can help make Florida’s natural spaces more accessible to people of all abilities. Tracked Chair Adventures (TCA) is a nonprofit dedicated to helping mobility-impaired individuals enjoy the outdoors, will have tracked chairs available, though participants are encouraged to bring their own. Due to overwhelming demand, Hilary Duff has extended ‘The Lucky Me Tour’ Through November 2027, including at Orlando's Kia Center. Due to massive fan demand, Hilary Duff has announced a new run of dates to The Lucky Me world tour, extending the run into 2027 with new shows across Europe, Latin America and the United States. The new leg features 32 additional dates, kicking off on May 7 in Madrid and will take the multiplatinum star through Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, San Juan, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Santiago. Duff will then return to the United States later in the year, launching the 2027 North American leg on October 1 in Sunrise, Florida. The run includes stops in Orlando, Raleigh, Baltimore, Uncasville, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Fort Worth, Milwaukee and Denver, before wrapping on November 20 in Anaheim. Central Florida Jazz Society has announced today its concert series at Judson’s Live, bringing acclaimed jazz artists and special collaborations to the intimate music room at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The season features performances from the Orlando Jazz Orchestra, led by drummer and former Glenn Miller Orchestra member Greg Parnell, alongside artists including U.K.-based vocalist Emma Smith, the 2024 Parliamentary Jazz Awards Vocalist of the Year; acclaimed pianist and vocalist Champian Fulton; and the return of singer and bandleader Svetlana's Holiday Swing. This exclusive event offers an up-close look at the creative process, with Orlando Ballet dancers and artistic leadership at Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre. What began as an informal evening in a bar or lounge has evolved into one of Orlando Ballet’s most unique ways to experience dance. In the early days of Uncorked, Orlando Ballet’s artistic team and dancers stepped outside the traditional theater setting to experiment, explore movement, and create. A director would bring a piece of music, gather a few dancers, and build a small work right in front of the audience. There were no elaborate sets or productions—just music, movement, and the freedom to try something new. With a drink in hand, audiences were quite literally experiencing ballet Uncorked. Today, Uncorked has grown into an engaging and educational exploration of the art and craft of ballet, while preserving the relaxed, curious spirit of its origins. Led by Artistic Director Jorden Morris, each evening offers an inside look at the creative process as Company Dancers and Artistic Leadership develop and refine choreography.
