- The Sunshine Hootenanny Music & Art Festival kicks off in sunny Brooksville!
Artists performing this weekend include Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, Eggy, TERRAPIN FAmoe.LY BAND, Mountain Grass Unit, Houseplant, and more. Sunshine Hootenanny Music & Art Festival is set to kick off this week, taking place from Thursday November 13 to Saturday, November 15, 2025. Held at the beautiful Florida Sand Music Ranch, the festival features a variety of classic rock, southern rock, bluegrass, reggae, tribute and jam bands on two alternating stages over three days. You can puchase tickets per day, or camp the whole weekend on the grounds of the scenic 80 acre wooded park. This is an all-ages event, so everyone is welcome, with tickets still available. The lineup for 2025 features red-hot jam scene favorites, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Eggy headlining, together with a special performance from TERRAPIN FAmoe.LY BAND, which brings together guitarist Al Schnier and drummer Vinnie Amico of moe,who will be performing for the first time together. Also performing at this year's Sunshine Hootenanny Music & Art Festival is Mountain Grass Unit, Brandon “Taz” Niederaurer, Magic Beans, Houseplant, Seranation, Jessica Jones Project, Ship of Fools, Electric Kif, Moonstone Riders, Prodigal Sons, Bonnie Blue, Have Gun Will Travel, Blackwater Grease, Face the Fence, Dandy Lush, and DJ MorGanja . In addition to all this great jam band, country rock, bluegrass, Americana music, the festival also includes fun activities like sound meditation, yoga, arts & crafts for kids, acoustic jams, and late night silent discos. The first-ever Q Fest Orlando is happening this weekend, a four-day theater and film festival focused around Central Florida’s queer artists, performers and stories. Q Fest Orlando is a four-day festival celebrating the best local queer artists in film and theatre, taking place this weekend, from November 13 - 16, immerse yourself in powerful storytelling and support our vibrant community at The Center Orlando, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando. Q Fest will feature something for everyone, with solo shows, storytelling, magic shows for all the family, films, and adults only drag queen performances. Festival of Trees at Orlando Museum of Art November 15 - 23 For nearly four decades, the Council of 101’s Festival of Trees has marked the start of the holiday season in Orlando. The tradition returns to the Orlando Museum of Art, Nov. 15–23, with its 39th annual celebration themed “A Season of Celebration.” Guests will be surrounded by dazzling displays including more than 50 designer-decorated trees, festive wreaths, gingerbread creations, holiday vignettes, and tabletop displays. Visitors can shop in the Holiday Boutique, stroll Santa Claus Lane, enjoy live entertainment scheduled daily, and dine in the Festival Café. On weekends, Santa Claus will be on hand for photos and meet-and-greets. New events include creative holiday workshops and Holiday Home Tour. St. Augustine Nights of Lights November 15 - January 11 The 32nd Annual Nights of Lights dazzles with more than three million lights adorning every corner of the historic district for two months. This award-winning holiday lights display runs from Saturday, November 15, 2025, to January 11, 2026, in historic downtown St. Augustine . During the seasonal display, businesses downtown stay open later, letting you dine with a view of the lights and browse the shops in the decorated buildings. Magic of Light at Daytona International Speedway November 21 - January 3 This holiday season, the World Center of Racing will transform into a festive wonderland with Magic of Lights! From November 21 through January 3, guests can enjoy a dazzling drive-through experience featuring more than two million holiday lights and displays. Spanning over a mile and a half, the event is designed for you to take in the magic from the comfort of your vehicle. I-Drive District Holiday Tree Lighting November 21 Kick off the holiday season in the heart of Orlando at the annual I-Drive District Holiday Tree Lighting! Gather with family and friends for an evening filled with festive cheer, dazzling lights, and joyful sounds. Enjoy live performances, and don’t miss the annual lightingl of the towering tree in all its seasonal splendor. Light Up Windermere November 21 Join the Town of Windermere for Light Up Windermere on Friday, November 21! The event will take place at Town Square Park and will run 5 pm - 9:30 pm. The Enchanted Tree Forest November 22 - January 2 The Clermont Enchanted Forest of Trees opens Nov. 22 and runs through Jan. 2 for viewing. There will be over 70 trees decorated by local organizations and businesses. You can walk on the trail to view, or park at the Clermont Boat House and walk over to Victory Pointe. Each year in Orlando and throughout Central Florida Christmas Parades ushers in the holiday season with floats, festive decorations, and a Santa sack full of fun. Christmas Parades are a highlight of the holiday season for many local communities, and feature local schools, organizations, and of course Santa Claus! All the parades listed here are free to attend with the exception of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Orlando, which is included with park admission. Where To Enjoy Holiday Parades in Orlando 2025 Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s November 21 - January 4 Larger-than-life balloons float through the streets of Universal Studios Florida in Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, along with appearances by the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me and some of your favorite characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar films. Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is part of Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort, and is included with park admission. Winter Park Christmas Parade December 6 The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 73rd annual Winter Park Ye Olde Hometown Christmas Parade. The event has been held each December for more than 70 years, making it the oldest continuous holiday parade in Central Florida. Each year the parade travels down Park Avenue, starting at Cole Avenue and proceeding south, ending Lyman Avenue. More than 80 organizations participate including marching bands, local police and fire departments, scouting groups, local dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus. Longwood Christmas Parade December 6 Come enjoy the Longwood Christmas Parade held annually on the 1st Saturday in December featuring stunning cars, seasonal characters, bands, food, and much more. The parade will be held on December 7 from 6 pm - 9 pm. Attendees can line up along Center Lake Lane and Oviedo Blvd. The parade leaves the Oviedo Gym & Aquatics Center approximately at 7 pm. Vendors, food, drinks, and alcohol will be available for purchase starting at 5 pm at Center Lake Park. Winter Garden Christmas Parade December 6 Bring a lawn chair or blanket and head to your favorite spot for this annual holiday event. A long-standing Winter Garden holiday tradition will delight spectators and bring in holiday cheer! Do not forget to look for the Big Guy himself at the end of the parade! The Winter Garden Christmas Parade kicks off at 10:00 am on Dillard Street at the Palmetto Street intersection (by Wells Fargo) proceeds north on Dillard Street, then heads west/left on Plant Street through historic downtown and concludes at Park Avenue. Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the Winter Garden Christmas Parade is a free community event. Winter Springs Winter Wonderland & Parade December 6 Celebrate the holiday season with Winter Springs at this year’s Winter Wonderland! Enjoy the 43rd Annual Holiday Parade, the Tree Lighting, and the Walkthrough Light Display, all together for one unforgettable evening. DeBary Tree Lighting December 6 Enjoy an afternoon of free family fun, featuring live entertainment, holiday music, and a dazzling Laser Light Show! Bring the kids for a photo with Santa and explore the Gateway Center Winter Marketplace, packed with activities and local vendors. Avalon Aglow December 6 Every year, Avalon Aglow brings the whole community together to celebrate the upcoming holidays. This event is free for everyone to enjoy. Watch as Avalon Park transforms into a winter wonderland with real snow, train rides and even an appearance by Santa Claus. After enjoying the festivities, make sure to grab a bite to eat from one of the many vendors and watch the holiday parade or even one of the local live performances. Finish off the night at Avalon Lake to enjoy Orlando’s premier fireworks show! Grab some chairs and blankets to sit back with your family and friends to finish off the night with a bang. 72nd Annual Winter Park Christmas Parade December 6 The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the oldest continuous holiday parade in Central Florida. Over 80 organizations participate, including marching bands, local police and fire departments, scouting groups, elected dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus. - Festival of Trees kicks off this weekend at the Orlando Museum of Art
Beloved Orlando holiday tradition opens Nov. 15 at Orlando Museum of Art with dazzling trees, festive events, and family fun. The wait is almost over! The Orlando Museum of Art will transform into a winter wonderland this weekend as the Council of 101’s 39th Annual Festival of Trees returns Nov. 15–23. This year’s theme, “A Season of Celebration,” promises to dazzle guests with stunning décor, holiday magic, and festive cheer. Guests will be surrounded by dazzling displays including more than 50 designer-decorated trees, festive wreaths, gingerbread creations, holiday vignettes, and tabletop displays. Visitors can shop in the Holiday Boutique, stroll Santa Claus Lane, enjoy live entertainment scheduled daily, and dine in the Festival Café. On weekends, Santa Claus will be on hand for photos and meet-and-greets from 10 am - 5 pm.
