With Emerald Springs feeding the Wekiwa River and lush tropical hammocks, the list of what to see and what to do is endless and includes walking and biking trails, horseback riding, and canoes and kayaks for rental on site.
A good place for wildlife viewing is right along Main Park drive. Early morning and right before sunset are typically the best time for viewing white-tailed deer. Wild turkeys can be seen throughout the day in all areas of the park. The best place to see Sherman’s fox squirrels are on the trails that go past the youth camp.
Camping and outdoor activity rentals at Wekiwa Springs State Park are managed by Adventures Unbound by Guest Services, passionate about the transformative power of travel and immersive experiences that promise extraordinary adventures and profound moments of discovery.
