Westgate Resorts revives iconic I-Drive attraction "Mystery Fun House" with new retro arcade experiences in Kissimmee

New Westgate Resorts and Chuck E. Cheese collab brings immersive gaming experiences to Westgate Town Center and Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Kissimmee, with a nod to much loved former Mystery Fun House attraction.
Locals and visitors to Orlando of a certain age will remember the much loved International Drive area attraction, Mystery Fun House.
Long before current I-Drive attractions including WonderWorks, SeaLife Orlando, and more, Mystery Fun House was a gem of an attraction founded by the late David Siegel, of Westgate Resorts fame. It operated successfully from March 27, 1976, through until its closure on February 18, 2001.
Located near International Drive on Major Boulevard across from Universal Orlando Resort, the fun house featured 15 individual areas (named chambers), and included an arcade, laser tag, mirror maze, dinosaur-themed mini golf course, and many other attractions, one of which was an animatronic show, The WizBangs, which featured a set of retrofitted Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre animatronics located within the attractions restaurant!
Now in a nod to the former attraction, and the "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre animatronics," Westgate Resorts, the Orlando timeshare and vacation company, and Chuck E. Cheese, family entertainment centers, have teamed up to offer the Mystery Fun House Arcade Experience, an immersive gaming experiences for families visiting Westgate Town Center and Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Kissimmee.
At the heart of the collab is the all-new Mystery Fun House Arcade Experience, opening Summer 2025 at Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Kissimmee, Florida.
The website for the new attraction features a retro 16-bit computer generated version of the iconic wizard which featured in the original Mystery Fun House!
Powered by Chuck E. Cheese arcade systems and expertise, the interactive space promises to deliver fun and play for all ages, anchored by two distinct Chuck E. Cheese-branded zones. The multi-year marketing agreement allows both companies to grow their customer engagement through cross-company promotions, exclusive offers and benefits.

Westgat Resorts will offer vacation packages to Chuck E. Cheese customers, and Chuck E. Cheese will provide discounted experiences to Westgate owners and WOW Loyalty members at the more than 500 fun centers around the country.

Chuck’s Arcade: A retro-style throwback filled with beloved classics and nostalgic hits.
Chuck E. Cheese Fun Zone: A whimsical, child-safe space tailored for younger guests, filled with age-appropriate games and an active play area and playground.
Westgate Resorts will become the exclusive Vacation Ownership and Timeshare Partner of Chuck E. Cheese.
To kick off the partnership, the brands will host a sweepstakes from June 30 through July 27 for a chance to win a Fly-away Trip for Four to Orlando including a three-night stay at Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Kissimmee to see this all-new experience firsthand.
