The Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. Gift Shop Refurbishment Extended Indefinitely

The Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. Space Mountain gift shop in Magic Kingdom had been scheduled to reopen earlier in November, but then Walt Disney World pushed the reopening back until December 11, 2022.

Now. the reopening has been extended indefinitely, with the space remaining closed as the planed refurbishment of the space continues.

The space is taking much longer than anticipated to be brought into line with the new look for Tomorrowland that is very slowly happening throughout the land in anticipation of Tron opening next year.

Like the Tron construction, it appears that Disney is in no hurry to move forward at any speed with the entire project!

Work on the exterior of building has been limited to nothing more than some light re-theming, and its widely believed that the interior is still a shell.

Could the rehiring of Bob Iger make any difference to the Tomorrowland project? Probably not but we live in hope!
