The 2023 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl kicks off tomorrow, January 2 at 1 p.m. at Camping World Stadium in downtown Orlando necessitating road closures and bus detours.
If you’re traveling in downtown Orlando tomorrow, January 2, due to the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, the following roads will be closed on Monday from 7:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.:
Church Street from Rio Grande Avenue to Orange Blossom
Rio Grande Avenue from Church Street. to Anderson Street
South Street from Norton Avenue to Rio Grande Avenue
Long Street from Rio Grande Avenue to Tampa Avenue
Nashville Avenue from Colyer Street to Anderson Street.
In addition:
Church Street from Tampa Avenue to Rio Grande Avenue will be closed Sunday from 10 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday.
Other roads might be closed at the discretion of the Orlando Police Department.
Public transportation provider, The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, who operate LYNX, will be detouring bus services in the area, announcing that Links 20, 21, 36 and 107 will be detoured, get the details here.
