LEGOLAND Florida have announced that LEGOLAND Water Park will re-open this Saturday, October 8, 2022.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort temporarily closed its theme park, water park, and Peppa Pig Theme Park ahead of Hurricane Ian last week, all the parks have since reopened with the exception of Legoland Water Park.
Two of the Water Park’s slides, the Twin Chasers and Splash Out, will remain temporarily closed.
The park was affected by the storm, with employees having to work tirelessly to clean up.
As well as announcing the re-opening of the water park, LEGOLAND Florida announced that due to storm damage the main theme parks new water boat ride, Pirate River Quest was now not opening in November, but is delayed until early next year.
As Hurricane Ian has affected so much of Florida, now through this Sunday, Oct. 9th, $20 from every LEGOLAND Theme Park ticket sold on LEGOLANDFlorida.com will be donated to the American Red Cross to help support Hurricane Ian relief efforts up to a maximum of $100,000.
This donation will enable the American Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from this disaster.
LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park and Peppa Pig Theme Park reopened on Saturday, Oct. 1st following an incredible clean-up effort by the Resort’s dedicated team of employees and partners.
