International Drive entertainment destination ICON Park have announced that a brand new family play attraction is coming to The Wheel at ICON Park early in 2023.
Scheduled for launch in January 2023, The Great Florida Road Trip, A Classic Vacation and Photo Travelogue with the Flamingo Family will take visitors on a nostalgic vacation through mid-century Florida, back to a time before the arrival of Walt Disney World and all the attractions, resorts and more that have made Florida home since that time.
ICON Park describes the new attraction at The Wheel as a part game, part educational opportunity that shines a spotlight on Florida’s history as an entertainment and tourist destination.
Guests will be taken on a journey that highlights the historical sites that have lured visitors for decades to Florida.
ICON Park, will officially unveil more news about the attraction on Thursday, November 17 at IAAPA Expo 2022 here in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center.
“It is so exciting that ICON Park will be showcasing so many Florida destinations in our beautiful state. This will give Orlando visitors a taste of some of the other great experiences our state has to offer,” said Staci Mellman, CMO, Visit Florida.
