Get set for Indoor Soccer - Inaugural Season of the Central Florida Crusaders kicks off this Sunday

It was back in in August last year that the National Indoor Soccer League introduced the Central Florida Crusaders as the newest expansion team to join the league.

The new set up includes a men's and a women's team, playing a 20-game schedule with both men’s and women’s teams playing games on the same day, back-to-back.

Other teams in the league include the Columbus Rapids, Fayetteville Fury, Memphis Americans and Rome Gladiators, plus in addition to the Central Florida Crusaders, the National Indoor Soccer League also announced a team for Tampa - The Tampa Bay Strikers., creating 1-4 rivalry in the process!

Here in Orlando, The Crusaders will be playing their home games at Addition Financial Arena on the University of Central Florida campus

The National Indoor Soccer League was founded in January 2021 by a group of experienced sports team/league owners with over 50 years of ownership experience.

The 2021/2022 season kicked off on December 26th, 2021. In the 2021/2022 season, the Memphis Americans women's team won the Women's Division and Fayetteville Fury men's team won the Men's Division. The league operates a Men's & Women's division with each member city/team playing in both division. Each NISL game night includes a double header, with fans being able to see both a Women's match as well as a Mens!
