Gatorland, the “Alligator Capital of the World™,” is bringing back its popular Gators, Ghosts and Goblins™ Halloween event for a seventh year in a row of family fun and fright done right! The daytime, family-friendly event, included with park admission, takes place over three weekends in October, from Oct. 11 through 26, 2025.
Don’t be afraid to have a little fun in “Swamp Ghost’s Monster Movie Museum!” Join Cyrus the Gravedigger as he trespasses into an abandoned movie theater to teach you about the movie monsters of yesteryear!

Visit the “Cryptids vs. Aliens” Hauntzone where you can help Skunk Ape save the world from some pretty extra extra-terrestrials! Then hop aboard the Cryptid Express, and seek out hidden beasties like Moth Man, Chupacabra, Jersey Devil, and more!
Florida is known for big insects, but this is ridiculous! See Betty, employee of the month at Bubba’s Bug-B-Gone, fend off some pretty big bugs! And meet the cutest werebeasts ever! The half human, half Capy Creepybaras! Then visit “Gator Grotto” where cadaverous captains will shiver ye timbers!
All this, plus interactive characters, animal meet-and-greets, photo ops, a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade with treat bags for all kids who participate! There’s also fun shows, Live DJ, a variety of specialty vendors, games, candy giveaways, and more!
Check out the latest news and updates from the attractions in Central Florida, including Fun Spot America, Gatorland, Island H2O Water Park, WonderWorks Orlando, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Crayola Experience, Wild Florida, and more.
“Everyone knows we just love Halloween time at Gatorland and our entire staff works incredibly hard to put on this frightfully fun event for all our guests,” says Mark McHugh, President and CEO of Gatorland. “You simply won’t find another Halloween experience that is anything like ours.
Halloween fun is for everyone at this all-ages event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are welcome to wear costumes. But nothing scary or gory, please. Skunk Ape is easily frightened, seriously.
Gatorland combines Old Florida charm with exciting experiences, exhibits, and entertainment.

Originally opened as a roadside attraction in 1949, the park celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2024. Today the iconic park provides affordably priced family fun featuring thousands of alligators and crocodiles, breeding marsh with observation tower, popular capybara encounter, a free-flight aviary, nature walk, petting zoo, educational wildlife programs, award-winning gift shop, Florida’s best train ride, Gator Gully Splash Park, on-site restaurant, and one-of-a-kind shows including Gator Jumparoo, Alligators-Legends of the Swamp, and Up-close Encounters. Popular adventure experiences include the Screamin’ Gator Zipline, Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure, and the Croc Rock Three-In-One Adventure.
The 125-acre award-winning theme park has been voted by Orlando Weekly readers the Best Attraction That’s Not a Theme Park every year since 2016, Best Wildlife Preserve 2023 by Orlando Style Magazine, and Best Hidden Gem 2023 by Watermark Magazine.
