Central Florida Zoo honors first responders with Free Admission on September 12

On Friday, September 12, the Zoo will offer free admission to all first responders—including law enforcement officers, EMTs/paramedics, and fire department personnel—as a heartfelt thank-you.

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens located at 3755 W. Seminole Blvd. Sanford, will honor the courage and dedication of local heroes with First Responders Day on September 12.
All first responders including law enforcement, firefighters, and EMT/paramedics will receive free admission to the Zoo, to say thank you for their service.
In addition to a day of exploring the Zoo, guests can enjoy special appearances by local first responder agencies including a fire engine and truck from the Sanford Fire Department and Seminole County Fire Department between 9 am and 10:30 am.
Crews will be handing out special goodies for kids. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office will also join as well with sticker badges and special equipment for guests to explore.

Offer must be purchased at the gate and used onsite September 12. Tickets are not available online. Proof of employment is required.
