Step aboard a starship bound for Altair IV as we celebrate the groundbreaking sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet! Released in 1956, this visually stunning film follows Commander Adams (Leslie Nielsen, The Naked Gun) and his crew as they investigate the silence of a distant colony—only to discover the mysterious Dr. Morbius, his daughter Altaira, and the remnants of a powerful alien civilization known as the Krell.

Featuring early electronic music, the iconic Robby the Robot (making his first of over 40 on-screen appearances!!!), and Oscar-nominated special effects, Forbidden Planet was a trailblazer for the genre, influencing everything from Star Trek to Star Wars.
