A GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF VOLLEYBALL

For North American fans, the World Cup represents a rare opportunity to experience the passion, intensity and national pride that define international volleyball at its highest level.

"International volleyball is unlike anything most North American sports fans have experienced," said Craig Thompson, CEO of the Women's Volleyball World Cup Organizing Committee. "The athleticism is extraordinary, the competition is fierce, and the fans bring an energy and national pride that transforms every match into an event. We are bringing that experience to five incredible venues across the U.S. and Canada, where the world's best teams will compete for one of the sport's most coveted titles."

The World Cup arrives at a defining moment for women's volleyball, as participation, professional opportunities and media visibility continue to accelerate across North America.

In addition to crowning a World Cup champion, the tournament will serve as an official qualification pathway for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, with the three highest-finishing teams not already qualified earning Olympic berths.

BRINGING THE WORLD CUP TO FANS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA

The Draw was streamed live internationally on YouTube and in Canada on CBC’s digital platforms, with encore broadcasts on Scripps Sports Network. During the tournament, Scripps Sports Network will bring the World Cup to audiences across the United States through an extensive broadcast and streaming partnership, featuring 19 live televised matches, 45 streamed matches and 10 hours of studio programming. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) will televise Canadian matches throughout Canada.

The event will feature approximately 57 hours of live match and studio coverage across the 17-day tournament.

The expanded coverage reflects the growing momentum of women's volleyball, as collegiate competition reaches broader audiences and emerging professional leagues introduce new fans to the sport.
