Today, Monday, February 13, a brand new attraction officially opened at The Pointe entertainment complex on International Drive, Orlando. Located on the ground floor at The Pointe, across from Main Event, Will To Escape is a brand new escape room experience. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has revealed that they are now the owner of the iconic prop chocolates used by Tom Hanks in the 1994 film Forrest Gump. The prop, signed by Hanks himself, was purchased at auction for $25,000! In 1994, the world was introduced to a warmhearted Alabama man named Forrest Gump and we instantly fell in love. The film, starring Tom Hanks, grossed a record-breaking $678.2 million worldwide during its theatrical run! Forrest Gump won six Academy Awards and received nominations from the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild, among others. The film, featured a variety of memorable props, including Gump’s Nike running shoes and bright red Bubba Gump Shrimp baseball cap. However, the movie’s most iconic prop was undoubtedly Gump’s box of chocolates. As Walt Disney Word get ready to officially open TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom on April 4, the company have been previewing the ride to Cast members over the last few weeks, and earlier today, Monday, February 13, Disney revealed details for Annual Passholders on how to register for previews beginning February 16. Now D23 has announced dates and details for Gold Members to preview TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom before it opens to the public. Tickets for D23 Gold Member previews will open on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. PT. The preview will take place on March 18, 2023. More details here. Plus, Disney Vacation Club have also revealed details for DVC previews, with registration beginning for Disney Vacation Club member previews of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom on February 16. DVC have not announced the date for previews, but a link to allow members to register will be shared with Disney Vacation Club members on February 16. In addition to having to registration for the preview, Disney Vacation Club members must also have a confirmed reservation for a Disney hotel on the night of the preview event.

The XFL is coming to Orlando this month, and as the Orlando Guardians get ready to kick off their inaugural 2023 XFL season. the team have announced a partnership with Orlando brewery, Ivanhoe Park Brewing. Ivanhoe Park Brewing has been named the Orlando Guardians’ Official Craft Beer sponsor and will unveil the Official Guardians Beer for the 2023 season on February 18, in conjunction with the team’s season-opening game. Orlando's three main water parks remain closed for the start of a new week, as cold temperatures continue across Central Florida. Blizzard Beach at Walt Disney World, Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando, and Aquatica at SeaWorld Orlando will all remain closed today for yet another day. Fortunately the wind that blew across the area last night has decreased, but we are still left fighting the cold weather with temperatures struggling into the high 60's, although the great news for Valentine's Day tomorrow, is that temperatures are set to rebound to the upper 70's. All three parks are scheduled to reopen tomorrow, Tuesday February 14. 2023.

Walt Disney World have announced that registration will open on February 16 for Annual Passholder previews of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom. An email has been sent to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders today, Monday, February 13, revealing the date. Passholders will next receive an email on that day with a link to registration. In the past two weeks Walt Disney World Cast Members and their guests have been previewing the attraction, before previews open up to Annusl Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club members. The new attraction is set to open to all guests in Magic Kingdom on April 4, 2023.

County superstar Jason Aldean has revealed that he is returning to the road in July, headlining his 2023 Highway Desperado Tour.
