TICKETS ON SALE MAY 28, 2024 BALANCHINE, GRAHAM, PIRES March 27 – 30, 2025 Experience three uniquely choreographed works, all in one iconic show. George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15 Balanchine considered Mozart’s Divertimento No. 15 the finest ever written, and to compliment the sparkling score, he created a work of prodigious ingenuity featuring a regal cast of dancers. When asked to present a work at the Mozart Festival held at the American Shakespeare Theater in Stratford, Connecticut, in 1956, Balanchine originally planned to revive Caracole, an earlier work set to Mozart’s Divertimento No. 15. Instead, he created a new ballet that used many steps from the old, and he named the new ballet after the music. Divertimentos do not have a fixed structure; the number of movements can vary from one to twelve, and they can be scored for one instrument or a chamber orchestra. Divertimento No. 15 is choreographed for eight principal dancers with an ensemble of eight women. Martha Graham’s Maple Leaf Rag Experience the final complete ballet choreographed by Martha Graham before her passing in 1991.  Maple Leaf Rag takes a sly look at the idiosyncrasies of a contemporary choreographer and gently mocks the plight of the artist in the throes of creation. With costumes by fashion designer Calvin Klein, a score featuring the music of Scott Joplin, and a ridiculous boomerang-shaped barre dominating the stage – the perfect prop for the cast of unruly characters that inhabit this ballet – the dance is a favorite for Graham audiences. Alysa Pires’ Skyward Skyward, which combines classical and contemporary elements, is a work in four movements which incorporates the feelings of hope and anticipation through an aesthetic called “organized falling,” where one motion leads into the next with momentum.  The work emphasizes upward movement and a sense of flight while evoking our collective energy or hope to move forward. TICKETS ON SALE MAY 28, 2024 GISELLE May 1 – 4, 2025 Experience the embodiment of romantic ballet…a touching tale of innocent, unrequited love and betrayal; of the philandering Count Albrecht and a trusting peasant girl, who, even with a weak heart, has a love for dance.  Giselle, who after her premature death, appears as a ghost to protect her beloved from a group of evil spirits…even beyond the grave.  After all, love has no end. TICKETS ON SALE MAY 28, 2024 UNCORKED September 26th, 2024 - November 7th, 2024 - January 23rd , 2025 Step into the captivating world of dance with an exclusive opportunity to witness the Orlando Ballet Company Dancers and Artistic Leadership in action. • Alt-pop icons The Veronicas bring Gothic Summer Tour to House of Blues Orlando and are Here To Dance!

Australian alt-pop sister duo The Veronicas are back in the U.S. including a visit to Orlando this weekend. Iconic Alt-Pop Trailblazers, The Veronicas are back in the U.S. after a break of 10 years! The Australian pop rock legends have recently released their sixth album, Gothic Summer which was released on March 22, and have embarked on a stateside headline tour, Gothic Summer Tour. The trek which kicked off on April 3rd in San Francisco, is making its way through cities including Denver, Chicago, New York City, Atlanta, and Las Vegas, including a stop here in Orlando this week. The sisters, Lisa and Jess Origliasso will take to the stage at House of Blues Orlando this Saturday, April 27, with support from special guest Jesse Jo Stark. Tickets are still available for the show. Get tickets here. GOTHIC SUMMER is the newest album from The Veronica. Released on March 22, 2024. the sixth studio release marks a triumphant return for the duo, which showcases their signature sound while exploring exciting new territory, delivering a pop masterpiece with a stormy vein twisted through its track list. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Jess said "The whole theme of Gothic Summer is that it's basically exploring social commentary on what we think is reality versus how we create our reality. It's a very metaphorical album." And in an interview with Kyle Meredith, the duo reported that some songs had been influenced by bands like The B-52’s and The Cramps “[It’s] more of the music that we grew up listening to, rather than what you would expect The Veronicas to make for a radio song, if that makes sense.” In Here To Dance, an infectious bassline opens... “We’re not gonna listen to that blah blah blah” they sing over an early Ke$ha-style synth. The bassline stays consistent throughout, keeping the energy up throughout the infectious track. Named “the ultimate pop-punk duo of the mid-aughts” by Nylon, The Veronicas have long been recognized for their famed blueprint in songwriting and career of multi-platinum studio albums which expertly balance vulnerability with a bit of rebellion. The hitmaking duo first emerged in 2005 with their now 4x ARIA-certified platinum, debut album The Secret Life of..., which featured hit singles such as "4ever" and "Everything I'm Not." In 2007, they released their critically acclaimed, sophomore album Hook Me Up, which lauded their first international top-ten hit "Untouched." After a hiatus, the duo returned with their self-titled third studio album in 2014. Now bang up to date, this year the duo unveiled their newest full-length body of work, Gothic Summer, the long-awaited project, is their first international release in 10 years.
